They were so helpful with scheduling virtual tours and several meetings to talk through our wedding vision and goals. It was daunting to pick a wedding venue for our destination wedding but they made the decision for our venue easier! We were a little shocked by the list of required vendors (and their minimums) that came with the signed venue contract, but it worked out in the end. We were able to stick to our budget and meet all of the vendor requirements (4 required vendors: florist, caterer, rentals, & coordinator). Our wedding day was perfect- the venue was beautiful and our day-of venue coordinator, Lindsey, provided by the MW made sure everything was set up the way we requested. I highly recommend this wedding venue if you are looking for a beautiful, accessible Southern venue. The staff are engaging, knowledgeable, and offer support throughout the planning process.

(Owner) & Kyle O., florist at Donovan's Dish. Although the weather was very upsetting & I couldn't get married in her gorgeous rose garden, the reception area was breathtaking thanks to them. It looked like something from a fairy tale. Before seeing it all come together, I was often flustered & stressed from planning it all & let a few things slip. I forgot to do a few things like print a photo for the card box - Melissa was there to take care of it; we were late & were bringing some of the decor, so it was late - Melissa took care of it. I didn't want to have to make anymore decisions the day of so - Melissa & a family friend coordinated everything. So, I felt like I needed to leave just a bit more for any future brides. I was a stress ball & throughout the whole day I must say Melissa really came through. I can only imagine how stressful it must be to host a big lavish wedding, so her carrying the burden of my stress & her own was very appreciated!!! The concept great, until you had to go down several flights of stairs to get back to the restrooms. The restaurant was cold and drafty. We were freezing the entire time. The food was served family style (because of the conference I think). The meat was too salty. The rest of the food was unspectacular and lacking a pizzazz. We had a lemon tart for dessert, the shell was so hard all you could do was scoop out the tart lemon custard. Needless to say, my co-worker and I booked it out of there as fast as we could.

They do have some specific rules for use of the Campbell Lodge, so make sure those are okay for your event before renting. We were able to have a beautiful event without any issues with the venue! For the Campbell Lodge, make sure guests navigate to the correct address at 3237 Spottswood Street. The lodge is not accessible from the Durant Nature Preserve main entrance. There is plenty of space in the Lodge, provided tables and chairs, and a large warming kitchen, ice machine, and walk-in cooler. The check out process went smoothly! We will definitely consider renting the Campbell Lodge again for future events!

Inside there are two fire places, a huge ball room area and a catering kitchen. There are also some small rooms which are great for getting ready in!! They are probably not bigger than 8 by 4 rooms but there are several of them. The back patio overlooks the lake and tree area. It can easily seat all 200 people. The whole place is also accessible for those in wheel chairs and has a separate mens and women's restrooms which is nice when you have a big crowd. Our planners, Alli and Faith, were beyond incredible. They supported us for months leading up to the wedding and went above and beyond on the day of. From setting up early and bringing food for the bridal party, to remembering every little detail (like repurposing florals and rolling the cake table onto the dance floor), they were calm, capable, and kind every step of the way. Even when I mentioned I was dehydrated, a bartender brought me a Gatorade minutes later--I'm convinced he ran out and bought it himself. That's the kind of care they all give. Steve and Van are exceptional leaders, and it shows in every staff member. This venue felt like family. I wouldn't dream of having a wedding anywhere else. Highly, highly recommend!
