I just got horribly burnt and couldn't take a shower for 2 days. When I got out of the booth, I asked her how many minutes she had put me at. She replied, "well, what did you ask for?". When I told her 10 minutes, her only reply was, "well, mistakes happen". I started walking out and she started SCREAMING at me, "Maam! Maam! Stop right there. I said I was sorry!". I replied to her, you didn't ever say you were sorry, you said mistakes happen. That's hardly the same.

Your employee contract when hired has you signed on to agree that you will be recorded and watched on your shift, you have to tan and maintain a tan, and if you put in two weeks before working a full year- those last two weeks they have a right to withhold wages. I should've read the ONE yelp review this company had and I should've stayed away. Not only are employees treated poorly and talked down to daily- customers aren't shown respect or kindness. Multiple times did I run into an angry customer and I have tried to problem solve but MANAGEMENT refused to do anything to make the customer happy. I unexpectedly had to submit an immediate resignation due to a promotion at my full time job and I am so glad I got out when I could. It's unfortunate I have been warned by many parties, my last check coming will not be accurate. As an employee, you are unable to call off- even if you're in the hospital they will hunt you down for a doctors note, and if you have a funeral to attend they will ask for an obituary as evidence-- something unfortunate my coworker had to be put thru- someone who has also quit. I will probably following the lead of the Yelp review and former coworkers will be reporting to Dept of Labor. I'm still in shock they're running a business with such poor morals and people skills.

Corporate is refusing to refund any of my money even though I have not had services from them since October 2020 if this isn't stealing 101 I have no clue what is. and just to make things very clear I have called on this several different times I was told multiple times that this was taken care of in the staff even apologize because they were under new management so I understood shame on me for having trust in a locally owned business! they're basically blaming me because I didn't fill out the paperwork. Not that they're blaming their staff for not getting the consumer me the proper paperwork. Shame on this locally owned corporation. What you will not find at Razorz Edge is the snobby atmosphere of other salons here in BloNo (for real....this is BloNo not Park Avenue) and you won't find the hyper inflated prices for a haircut either. The salon is a bit off the beaten path by you can easily access it by exiting Veterans Parkway onto South Main Street and turning right at the Dairy Queen (everyone....and I mean....EVERYONE in BloNo know where that is).
