So, I got the tanning itch…read more.. The pale wasn't doing it for me nor this adorable white get-up I purchased for a fun night out, so I high-tailed it to the nearest tanning salon. Seriously, the nearest, it's a minute (less than really) walk from my apartment and on the way to/from work. They offer zillions of packages with different times and beds, but the last time I went tanning was 8 years ago, so I figured I'd start out with the 3 tans for $5 (to be used within a week of purchase) and see where a little bronzing got me... Tan #1: -basic clamshell bed- decent, though for those who are claustrophobic, I'd think twice -8 min- already tan? start here or higher. parts of your pasty body haven't seen the light of day since 2004? try this or even lower. Don't be ashamed. Shame is for burnt b*tches like moi. Tan #2: -2 steps up from the basic-less clamshelly, though still burrito-esque... -8 min- she was trying to get me to go for 12 min (maximize my money's worth, appreciated) but I burn like a disco inferno. Tan #3: -650 bed-highest level they got and, oh lord, am I in love. This bed is what I feel a tanning bed should be: flat and huge, almost bed size, with fans in the bed pointing at my face and increasing in intensity as I spend more time baking. -10 min-even though, it was only two minutes more than the others, it was plenty. Did I mention I burn? Bottom line: thinking about tanning? Try the Sun Room. Good beds, incredibly friendly and helpful staff, especially for a semi-first time gal. Tip: if you get ants in your pants when you have to sit still, bring an pod and earbuds to make the time go by faster

What you will not find at Razorz Edge is the snobby atmosphere of other salons here in BloNo (for real....this is BloNo not Park Avenue) and you won't find the hyper inflated prices for a haircut either. Razorz Edge also features several (very clean) tanning beds and nail services for the ladies or the cosmopolitan gentleman. The salon is a bit off the beaten path by you can easily access it by exiting Veterans Parkway onto South Main Street and turning right at the Dairy Queen (everyone....and I mean....EVERYONE in BloNo know where that is). If you want an appointment with Rosie you're going to wait, but besides that they seem to do a brisk walk-in business and I've never seen anyone leave dissatisfied. I'm picky about my hair and I've been coming here for years. Give it a try.

I have a membership that includes spray tanning only. When I first purchased the plan, it was…read moreunlimited. Then a couple of years ago they changed the rules. You could only go every three days. For over a month the spray tanning unit known as the versa spa was down and not working, which was a huge inconvenience. I made several calls and sent emails as well to Corporate never got a response. It was very inconvenient for me to go to the other location in normal. Now all of a sudden they have changed their hours to closing at 7 PM instead of 8 PM. I was not notified this also is very inconvenient. I realize the girls that work there don't have any decision making in this process or at least I don't think so. therefore, their corporate policies are extremely lacking for customer service. In fact I would say there is no customer service. I do not plan on being there past the current month. I am so very disappointed and inconvenienced and like I said I have put in phone calls and emails and never ever received a response of any kind from any person. Therefore, I do not recommend this establishment.

Really?! After paying SO much money to tan here I would think that they could solve this problem. I even asked if I could buy a pair and then return them if they were still in the package (because I don't wear them anyway) and was told that "no, there are no returns" (insert snotty tone). So I had to buy a useless pair of goggles, again, in order to use my uber expensive tan package... Thanks but no thanks. I will be going somewhere else when my package expires on the first, somewhere with helpful staff.

There are different tanning levels and the basic one is about $20 a month and you're allowed to tan every 24 hours in either the advanced bed, express bed, or a stand up bed. They have radios at the head of the beds and provide goggles and towels. They also provide everything you might need like hairspray, deodorant, stickers, etc. Super welcoming staff who will answer any questions you may have.
