My airbrush makeup held up the entire day and barely even came off when I took a shower! It was an entirely outdoor, August wedding so this is no small feat! My hair was also gorgeous and exactly what I was looking for. I get so many compliments on both when others see pictures from the wedding day. My mother and sister also loved their makeup and false lashes. It was not exactly like the pictures I sent to the hairdresser but it looks really good. My hairdresser took her time with my hair and did a nice job. The salon, on the other hand, was not a great experience. There was another appointment with a different hairdresser going on at the same time as my appointment. This separate appointment made me extremely uncomfortable and is the reason I will not be returning to Charmed. The hairdresser said some things that could be taken as offensive so I did not think much of it. Then as time went on, she continued to say terribly rude things about other salons and hairdressers as well as say some pretty racist and homophobic things that made me extremely uncomfortable and made me want to leave in the middle of my appointment. Towards the end of the appointment, I felt pushed out and like they did not care about their clients at all. The atmosphere of the salon was not somewhere I would want to be for more than a few minutes so spending hours there was not ideal and I will not be doing it again.

It's taken me a long time to almost get rid of it. Here is the interesting part. I went in for a haircut, and the pedicurist saw me and said I haven't been in for a long time and asked if I would like to schedule a pedicure. I'm assuming she remembered me because I give good tips. I told her I have a fungal infection from the last time and I still have it. She said no problem; she would still give me a pedicure. I am not sure, but if someone has a fungal infection, should the salon be giving them pedicures. Isn't that how I got it? I feel the bowl wasn't cleaned properly or they didn't have an autoclave for the instruments. Well, I am still trying to get rid of this fungal infection. But I don't even go for haircuts anymore. I don't think it's very clean there.

As she did my hair she continued to complain about how she had to use more product and really didn't have time to do my hair. She was very rough with me tugging and pulling. She would constantly tell me it was going to cost more to do my hair. She then told me after my hair was colored that she didn't have time to cut it. That I'll have to make another appointment to have it cut. Then she hesitated in wanting to at least blow dry it. She had to have help but by that time my head was so sore from all the pulling that I couldn't take the mistreatment anymore. I got up and paid the bill. No tip of course because of the mistreatment.
