This review hurts, I have long enjoyed the food and service at the Sub Factory. Until this summer that is. Like usual, we went and ordered the same subs as we always did and took them home to eat them. Upon returning home my fiancé opens his and notices mold on the bread. The bread that was just handled by them to make the sub. How it was missed, we will never know. Still miss the food, but wont return. read more

My husband and I are once-a-weekers here. While it's not much to look at, it's a great place for takeout pizza. Our favorite is the BBQ chicken. We also love their chicken bacon ranch. The staff is incredibly friendly and we never have to wait more than a few minutes, if at all. read more

a pretty good little sandwich shop, although it's more of a shack than a factory. it's definitely a little whole in the wall, and while it is clean it's still a little cramped so you're better off getting your food to go. they do have pizza and wings here, but the subs are really where this place shines. i've heard people raving about how great their turkey sub is, and i gotta say it lived up to the hype. i tried my first one about a month ago. i opened it when i got out to my car and took a bite or two and wrapped it back up for later. my first thought was that it was good, but nothing out of the ordinary. a couple minutes later the craving hit and i needed more! i opened it back up and it got better with every bite. they use very good quality meat, it's not your typical cold cut turkey. the mayo is really creamy and good and they have a great sub sauce too, very well done! i think they use felix roma bread, and they make good sub rolls. this is definitely a 5 star sub. i've had their ham sub recently and while it was good, it just wasn't as good as the turkey. the wings i have here were fried well, the 2nd dozen i got was crispier than the first dozen i got, but both were good. i tried the garlic buffalo ones, and the buffalo sauce was kinda thin and lacked flavor, but the garlic made up for that. i also tried their BBQ wings and the sauce was really good, and i think it was homemade, but unfortunately they kinda skimp on the sauce, so you may want to order your wings extra saucy. i've tried both their sheet and round pizza. i gotta say the round pizza here is better, but both are kinda mediocre. the sheet pizza reminded me of nirchi's a little bit. the crust had the same texture as nirchis but it was a little thinner, and the sauce was different. i still can't decide if i like the sauce or not, i feel like the sheet pizza needed more sauce, it got lost a little bit. i liked the cheese on the round pizza, but the crust on it needed to be more crisp, my pizza was slightly burned on the bottom but it still wasn't crisp, my guess is that it has to do with the type of oven they have. the toppings i've had so far are pretty good. the pepperoni had good flavor, as did the meatball topping, but the spiedies could have used a little something extra. overall i'd rate the pizza a 3, bringing the overall rating to a very solid 4. so definitely stop in for the subs, especially the turkey, you can't go wrong. grab some wings while you're at it, but you're better off going down the road to the vestal bakery for pizza. the woman here is really nice, and i would keep going here more often but unfortunately i'm rarely in this part of vestal, but it is a very nice little neighborhood eatery. read more

Food was average. Thought the small sub was a little pricey. Watched 2 employees walk in the building while I was there and immediately began to prepare subs without washing hands, which I found gross. Probably won't go back. While I like to support local business, Wegmans subs are better. read more

I've been a once-in-a-while for a while customer to the Sub Factory and through many orders of disappointment. For example, lifting up a slice of pizza and having all contents and cheese/sauce fall off (it was not due to being hot), given a total of 5 spiedies on a half sheet of chicken spiedie pizza, being overcharged, told to "make sure I'm there before they close" and countless times of receiving an incorrect/incomplete order. I am really unsatisfied with this business. They have such a selection in menu items, and I do really enjoy their spiedies, but the pizza & customer service area of their business is failing terribily. To sum up this review in valuable words: Spend your money somewhere else, where you'll actually get what you paid for (rather than less than). read more

The service is always top notch as well. The owner is frequently there and always ready with friendly conversation and the girls that run the place are courteous and good at what they do.
