I've actually visited way too many manicurists in San Clemente over the years - all in an effort to find the perfect person that would simply do my nails the way I wanted them done. When I found Lisa I knew my search had (finally) come to an end. I'm very particular about certain aspects of my nails and Lisa always makes them perfect and beautiful. She's a seasoned professional, her work is precise and pristine. Lisa is always on time, greets you with a smile and never keeps you waiting. I just tried a couple of new things at Studio B and had to share with everyone! I got the best facial by Mariah. My skin has always been problematic. Large pores, oily, acne. This is the first time I have walked out of a facial with great looking skin. Instead of painful, swollen red spots on my face from extractions, Mariah used the Galvanic machine to unclog my pores. My skin looked radiant! Super clean, reduced pore size and I didn't need to wear make up. Plus, I got an eyebrow wax that gave me an automatic facelift. Big surprise: No pain. It seems her technique is not only really effective but so much more comfortable than any eyebrow wax I've ever had. It's also really great that she's a stickler for cleanliness. Get a facial. I have been going to Jennifer (Jenn) Keller for my hair for almost 17 years and have never been happier in all that time. My whole family goes to her, as well as relatives and other friends who loved my hair so much they started going to her also. Jenn is professional and super fun and she and her partner Lisa have the most comfortable and adorable salon. Perfect for the beach feel of San Clemente. I have had health issues off and on which affects my hair and scalp and Jenn always comes to the rescue, restoring it to shiny and beautiful again. When I feel the need for a style change, she always comes up with the perfect look for me. She is an absolutely amazing colorist and stylist and I am so blessed to have found her all those years ago. After trying multiple stylists around me, I'd given up all hope that I'd ever find someone I trusted to not ruin my hair. I have short hair and tend to be a little picky. However, I took a chance on Andrea at studio b and let me tell you... I now have faith again! It was the first time in years that when they turned around the chair to show me the back, I didn't get disappointed. I absolutely love what she did. Lisa is the Best in the Oc, she is NAILFABULOUS.. My nails always look awesome and perfect, even 3 weeks later they still look fabulous. Lisa has been doing my nails for over 1 year after having my nails done at another popular San Clemente salon. My work involves heavy use of my hands in a very physical job and I had a hard time maintaining my nails. I love that she never uses a drill on my nails and suggested another option when I came in. I'm a regular customer of Lisa Shipley at Studio B and I've never been so happy with my nails. I first came in begging for acrylics and hating how short my nails were.. but she suggested that we use gel to let them grow long on their own and I'm so happy I listened. I was used to having my gels fall off within a week and even days from past experiences! With Lisa my gels last up to 4 weeks and maybe even longer if necessary! Lisa is the cleanest, most sanitary and detailed manicurist I've ever been too. I appreciate that she files by hand so my nail beds are not damaged by over drilling and carelessness. They are always perfect and last extra long because is so detailed. I also have to say, she is loads of fun to spend time with. I enjoy our hourlong chats and would not want to go to anyone else! Hands down the BEST place ever!!! Lisa is just fantastic. She was so personable, professional and is INCREDIBLE at what she does. My nails and toes look absolutely perfect. Confession: I am a manicure perfectionist; I don't like the way anyone does my nails except me. Until Lisa. After a misunderstanding (I was too shy to say I wanted gel extensions and not just a mani, so she gave me the manicure for free!), Lisa gave me the most beautiful almond shaped Brisa gel nails and painted them with the lilac shade that I brought in (in a bottle the weight and size of a perfume bottle). After trying nearly every salon in San Clemente with, at best, inconsistent results, I finally landed at Studio B for a gel manicure. Lisa is professional, knowledgeable, and fun to spend time with. Lisa has been doing my nails for about 8 mos. and I was referred to her because I was having weak, thin, splitting nails from having incorrectly applied gel nails. Lisa's gel products are top of the line and my nails are once again healthy and strong. She is very gentle and doesn't hurt the nail bed. I get my nails done every 2 weeks.
