Kara Jacobson is a phenomenal instructor, patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping each dancer grow. She creates such a welcoming and supportive environment, where I feel both safe and encouraged to push myself. Her focus on technique and alignment is just what I needed as someone starting later in life. Every class is challenging in the best way and leaves me feeling stronger, more graceful, and more confident. What I love most is how this space feels like a true community. The energy is positive, and the staff is friendly. Whether you're brand new to ballet or getting back into it, I can't recommend this studio enough. Coming here has been one of the best decisions I've made for my body and mind. I always leave feeling inspired!

I shared with her that I had no experience but was looking to learn in a fun environment. She recommended Mr.C's Beginners Ballet. I mentioned that I read the description and that the class was not a 101 class. She was friendly and encouraged me so I thought I would give it a shot. When I arrived I shared with the woman wearing glasses at the check in desk that this was my first time. She was short with me and I had to ask where to go until the class started. I came out before class started and mentioned it looked as though everyone had quite a bit of experience. The three women at the front including Sarah assured me that it would be uncomfortable but to give it a try. I even asked if Mr.C would yell and they all said no. I had and eerily similar experience to the other reviewers with no experience. I was berated throughout the entire class. Even while I cried Mr. C persisted on critiquing me. He moved my head and forced me to look at him. I also lost the will to continue when everyone had to dance across the room. As he was shouting that I had to do it I calmly said I had enough. I went to gather my thing and he thrust his hands at me and shouted, "NEVER COME BACK!" As I put my shoes on in the lobby not one of the three women said a word. I would not recommend TADA. My goal was to learn, not be humiliated. This is not ok for anyone. I have read the review responses on Mr.C's background and I don't think this serves as an excuse for rude and unprofessional behavior. Perhaps just be direct and let adult beginners know that this isn't the place to learn. What I did take away was a reminder that when you are an expert and someone is a novice to always be patient and encouraging. The world could use more patience and kindness.

Every instructor has their own style, so id heavily recommend to try a few classes first before committing! Z U M B A C L A S S E S I've attended Sat and Mon classes taught by LeSonya Letona. I love her energy and excitement! However she only has a select some 10-15 songs and recycles them. If you like very repetitive movements and easy dance moves, then shes a great Zumba instructor for you. She was too repetitive in my opinion. It's very easy to follow along with her. By the second time I went to her class, I could already remember/guess her moves. The evening classes usually have about 10-20 people per class. The morning classes often have 5-10 people per class. I like upbeat and personable instructors who encourage individual expression, and teach various dance moves. Although zumba has a lot of repetition, I want to be able to keep up while continuously learning some new moves/expression. A little challenge makes it a great workout! W A I T No need to come early. Just arrive 5 mins prior or on time to class! P R I C E I bought a 10 class Groupon here because I just moved here and wanted to look for Zumba classes to try out since bay club and 24hr fit isn't available near me. $10 walk in class $45 5 classes $60 10 classes $70 monthly unlimited For just the classes and the quality of classes, I think the price is definitely too steep. It's located near Costco! 2997 Cumberland Blvd Suite 230 Atlanta, GA 30339 B E C A R E F U L If you want to add your own little flair/expressions, make sure you stand in the back! Otherwise the manager will come up to you and tell you off. (Ie: When we are moving forwards, two steps to the left and two steps forward, the instructor doesn't move her hands, but I add my flair and do a pulling motion with my hands and arms as if I'm pulling myself forward. This is not ok!) ____ MY ENCOUNTER The manager told me it wasn't ok to change up the moves so I nicely apologized to her and then also approached LeSonya and apologized to her as i didn't want for her to think I was disrupting/being rude. LeSonya responded kindly and said she didn't think I was, but she didn't want the new people to be detered by any variation. So I just said I'd stand in the back. I don't want drama. I'm just here to enjoy the music and workout. I thought it was weird because they don't have to look at me..? We can watch whoever we want. Also, I was standing on the very side of front row. I wasn't making my own routine but only adding my own personality. I've never heard of this type of complaint in my few years of attending zumba classes at other facilities. Every instructor has their own style, so id heavily recommend to try a few classes first before committing! This place wasn't my cup of tea but it may be yours!! LA Fit is just a better fit for my fitness journey.

The routines are fire and very easy to follow and the instructors are energetic and patient. They walk you through each of the steps and it's a judgement free zone. After attending my first class, I could tell that they were big on community. Now, they said this during class but I didn't believe it until meeting everyone. You'll always see new and similar faces and again, people are so kind. Really, people are there to have a good time! I recommend, and can't praise its graces enough!

I'm of a certain age and I couldn't figure out the moves so I wanted to quit, until I realized I was getting in my own way. I wanted the joy the instructors and participants had. Then came Beyonce week. I went 3 times a week and have been hooked ever since. It's a healthy supportive community, my hubby says no matter how my day is going I leave there smiling. Come get your dopamine fix, you won't regret it. Also, for the first year I just came to the classes. They did not pressure me to do any of the special community events, I was busy with work anyway. I did one when I felt good and ready, I'm grown. So if you want to just go to a class or two, do it! It's changed how I show up at home, work, and my friends even joined me, joy is contagious. Once class is all it will take.
