My child plays here and the experience has been very good. Her skills have increased and I feel the coaches here care about her outcome. There were temporarily located in Richardson, but have since moved to their permanent location in Carrollton. The facility is huge and it's nice to finally have a volleyball home with the team name. Club Volleyball isn't like recreational volleyball in the sense that there is more of an urgency to win; that being said, it's great preparation for the real world of sports, be it middle school, High School or College level. There are a lot of clubs out there, we choose Excel because we feel the coaches take the responsibility of training our children personally.

This league has some serious issues that need to be handled. They don't have a set of rules that…read moreare consistently followed. It is made up as they go along...in multiple age groups. This season seemed particularly bad because there was an instance where the league Vice-President (John Holifield) did not follow the rules to get an advantage over another LBSA team by letting a guest player pitch! In the 7/8 age group the Rangers (coaches) broke the rules every single game in hopes that the umpire wouldn't notice. Their coach's wife (Kristina Guerrero) is a commissioner for T-Ball and didn't see an issue with the way the Rangers played. These two incidents speak volumes about the way this league is ran. If two board members are ok with not following the rules what kind of precedent does that set for the league overall? There is very little league organization. There are tons of board members, but very few who actually do anything. The only part of this league that anyone cares about is select baseball. Everything is funneled into the select teams. The rec teams are thrown together last minute. The rec team equipment is worn out and needs to be updated. I believe the last time any new equipment was purchased was probably 5-6 years ago. As big as the city of Lewisville is there should be no less than 5-7+ in each age group. The small city of Corinth can manage that. LBSA is barely able to put together 3-4 teams (even during a non-covid year) in a division. It is time for Josh & Nikki Briscoe, Ashley Sauls and Stacy & Doug Gorsuch to move on (they all don't have kids who play in the league). They are ruining this league. Go read the way Nikki responds to people on the LBSA Facebook page. The board is a joke. There are no elections for the chair seats (Josh Briscoe has been the board President for over five years) and anyone can be a board member just by saying "hey, I want to be a board member." My hope is that the city steps in to run things and appoints board members that actually care about the league. There needs to be a full investigation into how the league is being ran and how the money is being handled.

This may be the cutest baseball stadium I've ever seen! I was so impressed the moment we came…read morethrough the gates and took it all in. It felt like something out of a movie. I've never been to Fenway but compared it to that and my bff and I both agreed it felt a bit like the Padres stadium in San Diego. I love a good baseball game and this past Friday night was so much fun. We were surrounded by amazing people, a stadium that really felt like a close knit community. Our party was seated in The Tavern which was very lovely. Highly recommend. They have a swimming pool IN THE STADIUM and every Friday evening a fireworks show. I can't wait to bring my son to a game. I purchased gear about 5minutes after arriving knowing I'd definitely be spending more time here. All of the fun of a MLB game, minus the hassle of driving to Arlington and dare I say it soooo much more character than Rangers stadium. Far more charming than Globe Life. It's truly a special place. If you're looking for a 5 STAR experience in Frisco, this is certainly it!
