There is obviously little to no budget for maintenance and upkeep as the grounds are in disrepair, and the staff is poorly managed. Lifeguards and pool staff have no consistency to hours. It is a lot of fun, as it is a short par 70 course that has steep inclines in places and rolling hills in others. All of this tucked in behind the Denton Dump and the Timberlake Apartments. It is easy to drive past and not even know it was there, I didn't for 10 years. The out of bounds are forest and you lose your ball pretty easy if you hit it in there, the traps were a little unkept when we played. This course has a putting green and a chipping green (never found this), but no driving range to warm up on. The course was pretty empty on the Tuesday prior to the Fourth of July, which was great since we played 18 holes and pretty much had it to ourselves. I would recommend for those wanting to get out and play a round by themselves or with a buddy. it moves quick and is challenging enough to make it fun.
