History
Established in 2022.
In early 2019, I stepped back into career-life without the commute when I became an early-morning barista at Driftless Bike N' Bean. I enjoyed every minute, from seeing our regulars to delighting in stories from tourists.
Although I ended up leaving Driftless Bike N' Bean for another job, the larger salary I was earning afforded me the opportunity to purchase the properties known as Driftless Bike N' Bean and Liberty Peak Deli when former owner, Kevin Miller, made me an offer I couldn't refuse.
The Station and I will share our birthdays on Monday, November 7, 2022, serving up exactly the same menu our guests already love. After a modest remodel this winter, we will officially re-open in March(ish) 2023.
I hope you'll enjoy our down-home atmosphere and linger a little longer as we share in something special together...down at The Station.
Meet the Business Owner: Shirley H.
My driving motivation behind The Station is to create something of benefit to our entire community that also allows me to make a living doing what lights me up - everybody wins!
As I reflect on my 44th revolution around the sun, I wish I had known more...remembered more, like who I truly am and why I decided to come here for this crazy ride. I am learning - remembering more and more each year, and every decision I make that aligns with my soul feels so good! The Station is one of those decisions, and I am so grateful to be supported all along the way!
While I'm as excited as a little kid at Christmas, I am also nervous as all get-out! But, I know and love this place and many of our loyal customers. I can't wait...to meet you, to hear your stories, to serve you up some yummies. I can't wait take your ticket for an experience that lets you linger a little longer as we share in something special together...down at The Station.
