    Cobb Chop Salad
    Karen L.

Yesterday we had lunch at The Stand in Calabasas. Two of us had our pups with us so we sat on the nice patio and enjoyed a leisurely lunch. One of us had the Build-Your-Own Turkey Burger as a lettuce wrap with pickles, mustard, gruyere cheese, and mushroom topping. It was delicious! We also had the Grand Stand Turkey Sandwich , Crispy Chicken Bites, and my favorite-the Cobb Chop Salad. Service is always friendly and polite and the food is very consistent.

Staff: The team here is really nice. Being it was our first time here, we took awhile to order, but they were so patient. Also, the young man who brought our food to the table was really nice. Quality/Quantity: The food is so good here and exceeded our expectations. We got the Stand burger, kids burger combo, and chicken teriyaki plate. The burgers are super delicious with a charbroiled taste like Carls Jr had in their finer days but way better. The buns are brioche so very light and airy. They even put the buns on the grill to toast them which really enhances the flavor. Definitely, my new favorite hamburger place. Value: I found the pricing to be very reasonable. Overall: We stayed in the area so we stumbled upon this establishment by chance and I'm so glad we did. In fact I loved this place so much that we came back a second time two days later. Safe to say I am a big fan of this establishment. Apparently, they have several locations in OC which I did not know so my new love of their food can be carried on. This restaurant has a great ambiance with great food, clean, lots of TVs for watching your favorite team, and great service.

    Chicken Club Sandwich

Went here with my boyfriend, I got the chicken club sandwich and french fries, he got the stand burger and the cookies and cream shake. They had lots of indoor seating and some outdoor seating. I also used the bathroom and it was nice and clean in there. The costumer service was great, the girl working the counter answered all our questions and gave us recommendations. The food was pretty yummy but nothing really special about it. The fries were pretty mid but my boyfriend's shake was delicious.

Absolutely fire came back after eating here last night. They have beer and they have damn good burgers. As a weary traveler there's not much more I could ask for (forgot to take pics first night and second night is standard stand burger half eaten)

The Stand - A Fantastic Dining Experience! My brother suggested that our families eat at The Stand after church, and it was a great choice! I had the Blue Burger, and it was absolutely amazing--perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and just the right balance of ingredients. As we sat down to eat, I couldn't help but notice how great everyone's food looked. The atmosphere was welcoming, the service was friendly, and it made for a great family meal. I'll definitely be coming back to try more of the menu! Highly recommend!

    Buffalo Chicken Sandwich

Ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich. Service was great for fast casual. I had no idea the sandwich came with chips inside which was a pleasant surprise. The chicken was moist and flavor was good. Slaw could've used more flavor. Had with a side of sweet potato fries which were super yummy. Would definitely come back to try more items. And they give free pickles!

I ordered a basic salad. It tasted good but was a small serving for the price. Service was great. You order at the counter and they deliver the food to your table. The ambiance is great and filled with TV's with a bar-like feel. Good hangout place.

I had an amazing experience here today! First the cashier was so friendly and helpful and patient while we decided what we wanted. The menu is awesome and you can't go wrong. They have kids meals which is great for my four year old. They have free pickles for you to take and they are so tasty! My ahi tuna salad was out of this world. I ate every bite! My husband's chili dog was also delicious. They have so much seating inside including nice comfy booths. There is plenty of parking and other shops which is nice to walk around. We will definitely be back!

ABM or BAM? Burger- anyway it's DELICIOUS!

Very friendly and efficient service. Lots of options. It was my first time visiting this establishment as I was in town for work. The burger was fresh and well-cooked and also artfully dressed with fresh avocado. The fries are thick and filling. Lots of beverage options as well. I do recommend this location for a delicious meal. I will be back to try some of their other delicious preparations.

Today I came in for a shake and a large fry. I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door. Jared helped me with my order and he was excellent. I will come back 10/10 recommend.

My second time here. This time I got the same Ultimate Egg burger but this time it was much better - the right pickled onions, melting yolk. It wasnt medium well again - they tend to do everything WELL DONE but it was edible.

Just tried "The Stand" for a light lunch ordered "Chinese Chicken Chop Salad" & "Chimichurri Steak Salad and they were appetizing. The ambiance was bustling and fast paced but tables were cleared quickly. I was able to get a table right away.

So far I've had the patty melt, the avocado cheeseburger, and the double bacon cheeseburger, and every single one has hit. First off, the bacon deserves its own mention. Whatever bacon they're using is clearly top-tier quality. Thick, flavorful, cooked right, and definitely not an afterthought. No flimsy strips or skimping here. The burgers are big. Like, legitimately big. These aren't sad, flattened patties. They're hearty, filling, and actually justify the price. They also don't hold back on the cheese, which I appreciate. Everything tastes fresh, well-balanced, and made with care. What really surprised me, especially with inflation being what it is right now, is the value. Their combos are around $16-$17, and for that you get a large burger, a solid portion of fries, and a drink. And it's a fountain drink, not a can, which matters. You're not leaving hungry, and you don't feel like you overpaid. The fries are good, the specials are very reasonable for the quality, and they also have other drink options if you're not in the mood for soda. The vibe is another big plus. You can sit inside or outside, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the people working there are genuinely nice. It really feels like a family-owned spot where customer service still matters. You're treated like a person, not just an order number. For anyone in the neighborhood looking for a good burger, good people, and a comfortable place to sit down and eat, this place is absolutely worth checking out. Oh, and yes, they do have restrooms, which always matters more than people admit. Overall, this is one of those places that gets the fundamentals right: quality food, fair pricing, and good service. I'll definitely keep coming back.

Flavor stacks high. This is old-school LA energy. No edits. No apology. The patty melt understands the assignment. Toasted rye with actual crunch. Buttered deep. Beef smashed thin and wide. Onion cooked down until sweet and jammy. Cheese fully surrendered. Nothing sliding. Nothing dry. Every bite hits the same as the last. Comfort food with discipline. Diner logic executed clean. The service we received was also excellent, thanks especially to our server, Blake, who really made the experience more enjoyable. Star of the Night: Without a doubt, the focaccia was the best I've ever had. Perfectly fluffy, flavorful, and truly next-level. The pizza butter was a nice touch, though not as memorable as the bread itself. Appetizers: * Caesar Salad: I wasn't a fan of the presentation with the large anchovies on top. I don't mind anchovies in the dressing, but having them laid out on the salad wasn't appetizing. * Tempura Mushrooms: Great flavor, but they were overly fried, making them a bit too hard and masking the mushroom itself. The sauce that came with them was delicious, but there wasn't enough of it to balance out the crispiness. * Grilled Shrimp: Unfortunately, this one missed the mark. The plating was very plain compared to the other dishes, and the flavors just didn't come through. It felt like the dish could use a serious upgrade. * Hamachi Crudo: This was a highlight! The passion fruit purée paired beautifully with the fish, though the extra oil on the plate caused separation and made it hard for the sauce to stick. A small tweak here would make it perfect. Entrees: This is where the meal lost momentum. After the apps, it took about 30-45 minutes for the mains to arrive, which felt unnecessarily long since the full order had been placed upfront. By the time they arrived, the dishes themselves didn't really deliver. * Scallop Curry: Decent flavor, but the scallops could have used a much better sear to really shine. Something about the plate felt a little off-balance. * Pappardelle with Short Rib Ragu: The pasta noodles were well-made, but the short rib lacked depth of flavor and tenderness. It seemed undercooked for what should have been a slow-braised, melt-in-your-mouth kind of meat. Overall, the dish was bland and uninspired. Drinks & Dessert: I skipped the cocktails because none really stood out, but the glass of wine I ordered was excellent. We also passed on dessert after waiting so long for the entrees. Final Thoughts: The restaurant has a lot of potential, the ambiance is beautiful, the focaccia is unforgettable, and the service (thanks to Blake) was wonderful. But the rest of the menu felt inconsistent, with several dishes needing more attention to detail in both flavor and presentation. I'm glad I finally tried it, but for me, the focaccia and service were the true highlights of the night.

No one ever brought water. No one said I'll be with you in a minute. Even the manager type (thin beige pants blue long sleeve linen like shirt)) outside tables and walked right by. Ok. So we left.
