We are here today for the first time and we loved everything we tried! I had the traditional Philly cheesesteak sandwich.... The freshest bun filled with perfectly seasoned, thinly sliced steak, onions and peppers, served with/beer battered onion rings. I got the small sandwich and I could only eat half! My husband got the Italian sandwich... And he loved it.. served with the lightest, crispy tater tots. We left there stuffed! Really wanted their rootbeer float but couldn't eat another bite...next time! For the beer lovers this place is for you! So much to choose from and free samples! Drove in the rain for an hour to meet some friends here because we wanted to grab a bite close to top golf and I was not disappointed. I got the wiseguy which was a mix between a pastrami sandwich and an Italian sandwich but hot. The thing was phenomenal. We also had a few beers but the sandwich made my entire horrible drive in the rain almost worth it. Only complaint is that it wasn't bigger but I was pretty full after the beers. I'd actually give this place a 4.5. We sat in a room. It had 2 TV's and a mega sized Jenga and connect four! Perfect for entertaining the kids till their food arrived! We ordered the kids grilled cheese w/fries. My 6 yr old son ate everything but the crust . Obviously it must've been pretty good. My daughter got the BS burger which was a double patty w/cheese and grilled onions. We made it a combo which included a side and a drink. For the side, you have a choice of fries, pub chips (homemade chips), macaroni salad, potato salad or onion rings. She also ate it all. I got the Club Sandwich w/pub chips. It was good, but nothing special. My husband got E's sandwhich, that was really tasty! Just enough spice from the peppers. We also ordered a Sour Cellar pint. It was light and refreshing! Was there several months ago to see a band, sat for 40 minutes trying to get a waitress' attention while she'd wait on a few people then take video around the bar, then stand at 1 table of apparent friends & talk for 10 minutes at a time so I left. Super service and delicious sandwiches and selection of brews. This was our first visit and definitely not our last. The server was so nice and offered us tastes on their big selection of brews. Their BLTs come on a French roll with a side. They have beer battered onion rings and tater tots! Yum! You can also get their sandwiches as a wrap or topped on their fries. We had our dog, so we ate outdoors in their tabled area, but inside was really spacious. If you don't drink beer, there is also the soda machine- vendor is Coke products (yay)! Not sure anymore...Quality changed Before the pandemic I found this place and loved their meatball grinder. Large, filling, and a nice crisp on the bread. Today, I got a sandwich barely half the size of the ones previously, and it was all soggy by the time I ate it. I don't know if I'm supposed to ask for a large or full size sandwich b/c I never had to do that before. Maybe because it was lunch time? Maybe the economy is changing things up? The fact that I drove a bit to get there goes to show the quality of product I got before. I don't think I'll head back here unless there was a misunderstanding on my part. They are located across the street from The Christmas House on Archibald and not too far from Top Golf and have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating in the front parking lot. I ordered a club sandwich and it was good but pricey for the amount I got. Service was quick and the girl that took our order brought our to-go sandwiches to us. My sister ordered the strawberry or raspberry doughnut cheesecake and said it was ok. She also said their sandwiches used to be way bigger. Been coming since the beginning! We don't even drink! Sandwiches are so good. Poppers and onion rings are great! Bread is so dry but sandwich contents are good. Servers are so friendly. Last time we came they changed the menu names again.....also no more kids meals or specials so I think they are trying to make it less kid friendly and more bar atmosphere. Bummer. It's pretty loud here too. Whatever helps business I guess. Please stop changing the menu we want to support our local businesses but it's like having to find a new fav every few months since ours are gone. No more chicken parm? No more Es steak? After enjoying some beverages at Rowdy's, they suggested Stacks for dinner. We weren't disappointed. Even though they were going to close at 9:00 and we arrived at 8:30 Jaden welcomed us and took our order with pleasure. We ordered jalapeño poppers along with a Hot Mess burger and a Califas combo with beverages. Everything came out quickly and looked AMAZING. The taste didn't disappoint. My husband and I have been to Stackz on Friday night and have enjoyed ourselves. We decided to bring some friends to try it out. Worst mistake. They had 2 servers and maybe 4 tables of customers. When we came in we found a seat right away. We saw the waitress visiting tables so we waited 20 mins for us to realize they probably aren't going to take our order. We asked a server if we needed to order at the register and she said that's fine. Went to the register while she sat down to eat food. After we ordered the food came and we had to ask for condiments. The looks we received while asking made us feel like we were a burden. Nobody wants to eat somewhere where your servers are unapproachable and make you feel like you're inconveniencing them. The food was a great! Service was awful. Not sure if we will be back. I get it people have bad days but when you choose to work in that kind of industry you need to be nice. Fake it. I give the 3 because it's a nice environment with great potential. The service was super nice and quick but... the food was unfortunately bland. The "spicy bish" was not spicy, nor flavorful. The italian was also boring, and I don't know about you but thick plain white bread kills my mood. Great beer selection, great environment, but definitely needs to explore more with seasonings.
