To my surprise, both the fish and zucchini were not overdone, and instead just perfect. A nice sprinkle of parmesan cheese added a needed salty profile to the zucchini. As a true roadside shack, there is seating outdoors on old school long wooden picnic tables. I visited after peak lunch time so there was plenty of seating which made my experience pleasant. Our current balloon at the time was just out date. After trying a few balloons out we settled on a balloon that whole family agreed on. Upon purchase the balloon was filled abundantly with helium. It was also decorated with very high quality decals that were season appropriate at the time of purchase. The leaf decals were multiple colors with high definition in the veins on the leaves. Fifty two days later the balloon has maintained a decent vibe in our living room despite being out of season with decor the balloon possesses. It has outlasted any balloon the family has ever owned and to this day holds an admirable amount of helium still. My boyfriend and myself are extremely satisfied with this purchase. We would return to buy again when we are financially stable to get into a more modern balloon for the family. At a very reasonable price of free for the taking, the rice to quality ratio is outstanding. We would highly recommend Shaw's supermarket to friends and family, when they are looking to get into a new balloon for the house!!! So for all those who are patiently awaiting an update of my beloved balloon. I'm proud to say it's been over 3 months and it may be a bit deflated but it's still floating. Not sure what they put in their helium but it's obviously well worth it!

Double check the price of sale items in particular, if you can find an employee to ask. As far as ambience, there is none. We discovered this place because we stayed at the hotel the restaurant is located in. We ended up eating here once for dinner and once for breakfast. We had the halibut at the oyster bar next door and the halibut at the oak room... Oak Room was much better. But the biggest differentiator was the service. Everyone at the Oak Room was so hospitable and seemed to genuinely enjoy the job (quite the opposite of next door). If you get a chance be sure to have a muffin at breakfast. They're delicious.
