I am only a basic member, so I can't vouch for the extra features like the pool and the sauna and the other classes. I go mainly for the weightlifting equipment and the open spaces. I like how there are two fitness greens in the gym which both offer plenty of room to exercise. The variety of weightlifting equipment is also pretty good, with a lot of different machines and cable stacks. The free weights are also pretty well stocked. My favorite area is the Olympic weightlifting area, which has four platforms and six squat racks which also have platforms. This area has a lot of mirrors so it's easy to keep your form in check. I have never used any of the class spaces but they all look really well kept from what I can see. They even recently updated one of their studios for weightlifting classes! Sometimes the staff is friendlv and other times thev aren't On a more positive note, this gym has gooc equipment like a nice pendulum squat (besides the rotting pad on the preacher curl machine), sn't really busy before noon, and the lube guy goes around often to make sure the machines are beina maintained well. Even that beina said t's not rare for the leg extension or chest fly nachine to be down for repair, leaving only one of those very popular machines open for 5C people to use :. It's $7 per person to get in if you're not a fisher's resident if your Fisher's resident it's free and probably more affordable if you have the group of kids because it is $10 extra for an hour of the kayak use and $10 extra to go beyond the roped area probably because they have this inflated play area that's tethered outside that roped area. They have a lifeguard on duty. Fill out the waiver before you go. If you have the money and bring your own food and drinks it could be a nice little outing for the family. If your not a resident of fishers though I'm sure there are more enjoyable options for $7, $10 or $27 per person. Also be prepared to bring cartloads to be able to enjoy or be comfortable.

There are a lot of different trailheads that have different difficulty, but I'd say they're mostly moderate on average. Each trailhead has its own parking lot. There is also a $7 entry fee per car. The trails aren't too busy most of the time but it's not uncommon to pass by others. The trails are also very clean and kept under good shade covered. There's nice views here with all the trees and the historical sites from when Fort Harrison was, well, a fort. I'm mostly a hiker by way of my outdoor adventures, so I'd love to check out some of the other resources at the park sometime!

So it would make sense that a facility dedicated to the state's favorite sport would be awesome. Pacers Athletic Center is a huge basketball facility with eight courts. This is where basketball camps, practices and tournaments are held, and it's located inside the Grand Park campus in Westfield. Apparently, volleyball is also played at this facility, too. I thought that maybe this is where the Pacers practice, but no -- it's just named after the team. I was visiting Pacers Athletic Center to cover a basketball camp that was led by Tyrese Haliburton. In case you're disconnected from basketball like I am: Tyrese Haliburton plays for the Pacers, and he is a big deal! He's a good basketball player. He's also a pretty good person, because he puts on kids' basketball camps here in Indy and in his home state of Wisconsin. This facility was a good venue for this camp, because it had more than enough room to hold the more than 300 kids and their parents, basketball players, staff and other people involved in the event. There's an upstairs overlook (the Pacers Fan Zone) with lots of tables and chairs, and it's a nice, out-of-the-way place to get a 360-degree look at all of the courts. There's also a snack bar, vending machines and lots of space to walk around. The parking lot is big, but depending on the event and the time, parking can be a little iffy.

I'm not sure where they find the referees, but I'd say 8 out of 10 have absolutely no idea what…read morethey are doing. And the fact that the PAC allows them to continue reffing is beyond me. Kids are constantly being hurt and refs are not making the calls because they are underpaid and overworked, so they want to get home. Or the refs say "they are only in 1st grade...etc" how will children ever learn if you allow them to continuously foul, travel, double dribble etc? Or you just have refs that referee like this is street ball. They have some amazing coaches. But be very careful when you are paying your thousands of dollars for your child or children to play. They advertise all coaches have played or coached at the high school, college or pro level. But that in fact is false. You can end up with a coach who has no experience listed anywhere online, no high-school stats, but went to college and got a degree in sports media. A coach whose teams are beat by 60+ points and no in game adjustments are ever made. And I know everyone has to start somewhere but I'd recommend a coach with no experience start off in a bite size league for 3 & 4 year olds. Coach Mike and Coach Ajay though 10/10. Pros. You can look them up and see all of their achievements. Absolutely amazing coaches and know what they are doing.

With that said, it is one of the busier Planet Fitness' that we go to, no matter what time of day we went. They only have nine ellipticals, but we were able to find a spot. They do have other types of cardio, including rowing machines, bikes and plenty of treadmills. This is one of the facilities to get the new squat racks so I noticed they had modified the layout a bit, so that's nice for those of you who enjoy those I also appreciate the fact that they have a nice corner in the back of the facility where at least 6 to 8 people can be doing Mat work There is a nice amount of room between the rows as well, everything isn't quite so crowded in The facility is clean, staff are friendly, they have lockers upfront with locks so you don't have to bring your own, bathroom facilities were clean and tidy There is plenty of parking out front as well and I love that they have Tootsie rolls on your way out

Some of the picnics tables are falling apart, there is trash everywhere, the parking lot has huge pot holes, and one pavilion looks like it was the set of one of the Hangover movies. This park is one of the worst maintained that I have seen. The grass is cut, but that is about it. The park has a huge parking area, divided between a couple of lots. There are some basket ball goals in an area, but are set up in an odd arrangement that do not allow full court. There is a playground area there. It is lined with wood chips and has the older style swings, and some toddler swings. There is also two jungle gyms and a couple of slides. The playground is accesible, but the equipment is aged. The park also has a decent restroom facility, a disc golf course, and a fitness area. There are also 3 covered pavilions with picnic tables and grills that you can rent. The pavilions, however, are trashed. They are full of garbage and just plain nasty. The bright spots of the park are the aquatic center, the huge grassy fields, and the walking/jogging trail. The fields can be used for soccer, playing catch, flag football, flying a kite, or just throwing a blanket down and relaxing. There was a lot of people walking on the trail while I was there. The trail is pretty long and goes around the park in a circle. This park was in bad shape and in need of some serious help. Outside of the trail and field I do not see much utility for the park. This park has a lot of potential and if the park's issues are corrected then it would be a great place to visit. As it is now, the park is mehhhh, and I would probably visit another park, even if it was a bit further.
