I needed some help working on my bike and stopped by to have the mechanics here take a look. After ringing the bell, a friendly mechanic popped out and asked how he could help, then offered to take a look and see if it was an easy fix. Turns out it wasn't, bit have me a specific quote on what the cost and timeframe were and he was spot on! I returned a few days later to pick up and it could not have been a better experience; my bike was spinning smoothly again! For future bike service, I will be back and would highly recommend!

Cool little spot on Elizabeth. Was just in for some drinks at the bar for the Vegan Drinks outing, so can't speak to the bike repair side of things, but it's a cool little spot for a few beers. One side is an actual bar with like 6 taps and the other side is bike shop. They featured several local craft beers. I stuck with $3 cans of Triple C 3C IPA which seemed like kind of a steal. They've got the affordable PBR draft as well as the reasonably priced locals. Not a huge place to hangout (only seats at the bar), but you can hang out on the patio out front which is nice. Inside, they were doing some fun things with two stationary type bikes having two people race. It's all set up so the rest of the place can see who is winning and the final results. I did not partake, but it was fun to watch. It felt like a good hub for the bike community to gather before and after rides.

Didn't have what I needed, but they were super friendly on the phone. Planning to go here in the future for gear needs.

I shop here regularly and truly enjoy the experience. The Village Store is part of our quaint Main Street area not to be overlooked. You can shop for housewares, local foods, boutique clothing and jewelry, toys, Lake Life and Lake Norman local gifty items, like tshirts, pillows, tea towels, etc. There is so much to look at here, and trust me, you will find something you love! The staff there is very friendly and the store is so well stocked. The prices are very fair compared to other boutique style stores, but I'd say the Village Store has the biggest selection of home and gift items in the Lake area. They have begun putting out their fall decor, and they really have some beautiful displays during the Christmas season. I really enjoy shopping here.

They have a lot of unique items here, too, encouraging lengthy browsing. I was able to find a perfect gift for Christmas, and continue to visit this store every time I'm in Davidson. The staff are very welcoming and friendly, too. I only wish they were open later on Saturday night (like 7 or 8pm) so we could visit after dinner, rather than having to go before. Definitely check this place out of you are looking for a gift for yourself or someone else!

The lady next to me who was putting socks away didn't speak. Just looking at every item that I touched. I can guarantee you I make more money than them in one day. So stealing is not an option for me. Outside of that. The stuff is cheesy, very trendy. No originality. Seen it on a million ig pages

I have mixed emotions about this place. I walk past it EVERY day on the way to work and I eyeball…read morethe items in the windows. If it's cute...I make a mental note....if I gasp...I'll walk in and usually will not purchase because they won't have my size. grr. I have to get a dress in a size large in everything so it won't look like a micro mini on my long legs. And Larges tend to fly off the shelves. Lets face it....I'm not 20 anymore and I shouldn't be in a micro anything. I'm all woman..hear me roar. I think this location is a little bit "hipper" than the other location that is in the South Park area next to WS. That location has some of the same pieces but I've been in there and the items would def appeal to the older crowd (40's) and then made mid 20s. Today..... Uptown location made me proud. I had my eye on a Chevron Black and White LONG maxi skirt that was at another boutique in dilworth. I called them and they sold out in about a week. *tears* of sadness. Oh WAIT...I thought to myself...I think Ivy & Leo had the same skirt....I'll check on Monday. Walked in today with a coworker and I couldn't find it on the rack. *tears of sadness* I browse the sale rack as I morn in silence. My coworker said "is this it". A light from heaven shown down with all it's glory as she held up my beloved chevron black and white maxi skirt. "YES" and I snatched it. Thank the good Lord it was a large. I would have probably bought it anyway if it were a small and squeezed my thick'um thighs in it. (Don't judge...you know you've done that before). Here's where I get irritated. I'm happy and I asked the sales girl to hold it for me as I need to go back and get my wallet. I could have sworn she rolled her eyes in her head and I politely said that I would be back...no need to worry. She just grabbed it and said "Name?" wow....someone's got the Monday blues. So I went back and the OTHER nicer girl helped me. Anyway..that's my story. Check it out. It's a trendy little place and dangerous for me as it's on my way to work....blah. I have a shopping problem.

Stopped in yesterday as I was taking a stroll around the block (it looked so cute from the street)…read moreCustomer service - non existent. There were at least 4 shop girls present. None of them greeted me or the other guests in the store. It was so odd. I noticed the other patrons just browsed and left. The employees just stood there loudly talking each other and giggling. I was put off. Merchandise in the store - very cute and unique. I will visit again when I'm in the area to see if the customer service was a one off. But for now - 3 stars

I placed an order at the beginning of April. At no point during checkout was it clear that the item…read morewas a preorder. After waiting over a month with no updates, I had to reach out twice before I was finally told that the item was a preorder. Even then, customer service was unable to provide any estimated shipping date. Since I still had no timeline and did not receive a response within their stated response window, I emailed requesting that my order be canceled. When I received no reply, I disputed the charge with my credit card company. Now, more than three months after placing the order, I have been told the item is suddenly ready to ship. The company has re-billed my card but is also telling me that it is no longer possible to cancel the order or prevent it from shipping. My biggest concern is the lack of transparency and communication throughout the entire process. If an item is a preorder, that should be clearly disclosed before purchase, along with realistic expectations for fulfillment. Better communication and more responsive customer service would have prevented this situation entirely. Based on this experience, I have no confidence in ordering from this shop again and would not recommend it to others.
