It is…read morepaved, and while on occasions it passes sports facilities or people's backyards, it is generally quite green. It is usually well-attended and I have not had any safety concerns; it certainly feels better than comparable areas on the other side of the river. There are plenty of bikers, but the trail is generally wide enough not to present any major issues of overcrowding. It's definitely a good way to get a taste of the environment without driving too far from the city.

I did not see any, but I expect there must be some. This particular bit of park is not on the waterfront and is not that aesthetically distinctive, but it is connected with the greenway trail that goes to several useful places, as well as being next to a sporting venue. Several ellipticals; lots of bikes, one stairmaster, and some rowers in basement. They got some new weight machines and a small selection of dumbbells that go up to 50 lb. So no lunks here. The indoor track is big plus too, but the Greeneway is right there so why not just run outside? Also several basketball courts, racquetball, and activity rooms. Even craft room. But just $50/year. Can't beat that :)

We traveled from Lexington, KY and were staying in North Augusta, SC which was only about 30-40min away. Worth the drive!! We did the Bronze Party Package for 10 of us - it was easy to book and totally affordable. This package included: 1 jet ski, 2 single kayaks, 1 tandem kayak, 2 stand-up paddleboards, and a party float/ lounger! We had fun alllll dayyyy long!! The staff was informative and took our safety seriously but also really encouraged us to have fun. Riding the jet skis was probably our favorite part! There was a picnic table right by the water that we were able to use and the water in the lake was clear. We even got to see an Eagle!!! I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone/everyone and would love to go back and visit sometime. Thanks again, y'all for such a wonderful time!!

We walked around then came back to the dog park and there was a husky, barking and lunging through the gate. One bite was enough. Raring 4 stars due to the visitors, not the location.

Can you blame me? With two furry family members, I am always looking for a clean and safe space they can run around in. Augusta (including North Augusta) only has a few dog parks and this is a good one. I will say I appreciate the natural shade in the warmer months and the bench to sit (for when they wear me out). The space is a good size and there is a separate space for small and large dogs. I will mention that on the large dog side there is a corner in the back where leaves and such have piled up, making it easy for a dog jump out. I saw one dog hop the fence at least three times on a recent visit. Just be cautious if you're on that side. Again, it is convenient if you are spending time at the Park already and at least worth trying out. But remember, please pick up the poo. Just saying.
