When the delivery people came, they didn't wipe their feet or wear booties like every other delivery people have. I was scrubbing mud off of my white chair while they were bringing in the other items. They saw me and said nothing. As they were carrying the base of the bed upstairs, they smashed a chunk of the edge of an archway going upstairs. They were bringing it back to the truck and decided to try again. I later found out how they did it. I noticed part of the cloth was hanging down from the base and one of the boards that frame the entire thing, was split into two. There was also mud on my mattress that I had to clean. They were sloppy and reckless and had no regard for the situation. I also had to clean mud off of my walls and other things in my house. I didn't realize the extent of the damage right away so nothing could be done. Customer service is minimal at best. If you are looking for good service in any way, this is not the place to go.

This happened this year, 2026. I commented often before this past year, complimenting customer service. This year, when I tried to enquire about my free freight coupon, I was rudely told that it was a once-in-a-lifetime deal. I argued it was listed on my rewards dashboard with no caveat. The rewards program was changed; I assume after new ownership. The program reduced customer rewards. I decided to be cautious with future purchases. I am certain that in 2027 I will lose my platinum status--their loss, not mine. Several of their ceramic, handmade pieces can be purchased on Instagram and other sites for a significant cost reduction. The products are made in another country. My associates tell me the product is the same, but the value of the original hand-painted ceramic treasure plummets. Mackenzie touts their ceramic products as "collectors' items". The consumer decides on the longevity of a product. Think about toys, baseball cards, dolls, sterling silverware, and other products that have not held their value. M-C may suffer the same fate, especially if customer service is abysmal.

It took multiple calls to get a response from Amanda, their contact. When I told Amanda they originally fixed it, she said we would have to pay AGAIN. Finally, after explaining we were told it was covered from a repair this year, they agreed it was under warranty, but on the service date no one showed up. They I had to spend multiple calls trying to get someone to come out. When they did, they told me that it would be hundreds of dollars to fix. I'm really disappointed with their service.
