There's a bit of a pavement area in which to quaff your pint but by day the outlook is bleak - who wants to stare at a wall and passing cars, and by night you'll have the bouncers breathing down your necks and the local drunks spoiling your party. If you want a quick(ish) bit to eat whilst out shopping then Wetherspoons is better than O'Neils or Yates - otherwise I'd avoid it. Toilets tend to be fine and staff friendlier than in some.

The decor isn't particularly amazing, and the chairs outside often mean you're facing Chameleon, and having pedestrians trying to circumnavigate your table in order to walk down the street. In the evenings however, on peak nights, it is sometimes unbearably crowded, difficult to get served at the bar and near impossible to find anywhere to sit. The bouncers are often lurking around, although if you don't cause any trouble they're friendly enough.

Service is what you'd expect from a pub, but I have to say, one waitress we had while sat in the older part of the pub (mind your head on the beams!) really went out of her way to be helpful and friendly.
