came here not too long after it opened, which may give it a pass on some pretty underwhelming food, if it has improved that is. with so much BBQ in London this relative latecomer really needed to excel and sadly it was pretty average. the mac and cheese, sounded lovely but didn't deliver and my pulled pork sandwich (the standard surely?!?) was dry even with the addition of some bacon goodness. the fries (home-style) were limp.
you order at the bar which seemed strange in a venue with quite a few members of staff and lots of tables, its deceptively quite a big place. i do concur that it isn't badly priced. not cheap cheap however.
the saving grace is the bar area and the beer selection, really lovely seating at the front of venue. loads of different beers on tap and what seems like hundreds of bottles. gonna have to come back and investigate fully!
staff were pleasant but the barman seemed a little away with the fairies. engage man!!
i wish them all the best. read more
