If you want a quick(ish) bit to eat whilst out shopping then Wetherspoons is better than O'Neils or Yates - otherwise I'd avoid it. Toilets tend to be fine and staff friendlier than in some.

Sunday lunch time is especially popular and you need to get there early to get a table as the pub is relatively small. the service can be very mixed as the landlord is very pleasant but a little eccentric.
