It is a great local place to go to if you are a starting hobbyist looking for electronic parts or just someone who need parts for random things. The first time I went to the place it was packed with people from hobbyist, students studying electronics and needed parts to general people requiring parts for an elevator. The place is not big, but it is packed with a lot of things related to electronics. Staff is super nice and helpful in finding you the things you need. I like that they don't try to sell you what you don't need or make you buy a higher price item. If they can't find it, they can order. Price is a bit higher, but this is the place if you are not buying bulk order and don't want the hassle of shipping. There is side street parking which is free. They have a website that you can browse and shop items by categories. The website also has tutorial on starter and intermediate projects that the staff has done, which is cool! Took the same unit immediately to a longtime repair tech who closed his Vancouver store and it was fixed within days. I did not mention he was the second pair of eyes to take a crack at it. Surprised, I asked him to verify if the unit now works, and he gave me a puzzled look as if it was no big deal. And, it works perfectly now. Disappointed that Innovative's repair technician took half my deposit but did not take interest in fixing a simple repair. Having said that, their staff out front are always very friendly and great. The establishment used to feature on premises, a radio studio, which is no longer there unfortunately. Yet it is a museum-like experience with unique vintage Japanese equipment on display and sale. For all of these reasons, this establishment is worth a visit but do not endorse their 'repair dept'.

So I ordered one online on 20 Aug 2026, and the WRONG item was shipped to me from the Langley store, arriving on August 24th. To get it replaced, I had to pick a date when I could sit around for the entire day waiting for Purolator to pick it up. I got a mid-morning text from the driver advising me that he had an incomplete address and could not find me. I could not call Purolator to correct the info as I was not the shipper. I made multiple attempts to contact Visions, and eventually got a human- she was fantastic, but this was not going to be resolved quickly so she agreed I could go out and live my life! Miraculously, I was able to get the wrong item back into the Purolator system as by sheer coincidence another completely unrelated Purolator delivery arrived that day (August 27th). Visions advised me that the item was received back at the store on August 31st. It is now September 9th, and I still do not have the correct item. I cannot get through to a human on the phone so it's back to using the email system which will take a few more days of back and forth messages. I tried phoning the actual Langley store where the mistake started, to find out where my correct item was, but was told I have to call the customer service line as my order was placed on line. For some strange reason the customer service line is "receiving higher than normal call volumes". Imagine! So a human being at the Langley store made a mistake and I have to spend weeks fixing it and listen to muzak forever. The Langley manager will not own up to their mistake. I would have been fine with this adjustment, but at the time of my purchase, there were several similar bundles available at Canada Computers and NewEgg. Unfortunately, I missed out on those deals because I ordered from Memory Express. As a result, I'm left with no other options. When I tried to explain this situation to the manager, instead of a simple apology, I was met with a barrage of yelling and unprofessional behavior. What should have been resolved with an apology turned into a heated argument with the manager.

As a reference, the monitor section in the Grandview warehouse location (largest in BC) is the size of the entire store here (smallest in BC according to the staff). As a result, the selection here is seriously quite lacking. This location is probably better used as a pickup point. I'll be heading to Richmond or Grandview for computer goodies going forward. Staff were friendly and helpful.

I had never heard of Canada Computers until recently. I should have read the reviews before going…read morethere. I made my first purchase there, totaling $3,000+, on behalf of my employer. After the experience, I was instructed not to shop there ever again. Among the items purchased were a couple of SSDs, each costing $250. Neither worked. One had a software issue. They replaced it. With the second SSD, the problem was apparent straight out of the box: the cable did not fit the port on the device. Canada Computers refused to refund or replace it. After several trips to the store and hours on the phone with the manufacturer, the manufacturer replaced the device, although I had to pay the shipping fees. Unfortunately, we also purchased a 4-year warranty for the laptop, so we will have to deal with Canada Computers again. However, there will be no more new purchases from them. I prefer shopping at physical retailers rather than buying online or directly from manufacturers. In this day and age, with everything moving online, if retailers don't care about staying in business, why should I care about keeping them employed?
