I just love this place and these people. I've seen just about all the doctors and they all helped me heal in real ways. When I first came here, I was in pain every day most of the day. Right now I'm experiencing a little to no pain on a daily basis. I know there's still work for me to do keeping my body strong to hold adjustments and I'll continue to work on that. The front desk people are all kind and welcoming. In addition the space isn't your usual chiropractors office, it feels cozy and inviting and they play nice music. There's even a little space where you can stretch and foam roll and what not before you get worked on which is lovely. They also have an adorable play space for kids. I definitely would strongly recommend it. They even gave me a break since my finances are not the best at the moment. read more

I cannot say enough great things about the amazing folks at the Source. I look forward to Thursday's mornings not only to get adjusted, but to reconnect with and share life events with these new found friends of mine. I've had the opportunity to get adjusted by all of the practitioners throughout my six months of recovery and each individual brings their own sense of care to their practice. Without them, I would not be back in training for my marathons and 50ks. Thank you Docs! Even after all of my training and running is behind me, I still plan to come in regularly to stay connected. I have been coming here for years. All the doctors are good, and the desk staff are also very helpful.

I'm truly grateful for The Source and the amazing staff of healers. The chiropractors/ healers here are wonderful at what they do. I've been seen by Dr. Lauren, Dr. Brett, Dr. Malcolm, Dr. Brendan, nd Dr. Jordan. The common denominator that I've found with service here is relief. I also truly appreciate the tips and tools that they provide to help with at home activity. I often have neck and shoulder stiffness which sometimes limit my mobility. When I receive treatment here, I feel immediate improvement in my mobility and relief. If you're looking for a good chiropractor in a clean, professional, welcoming environment, I highly recommend The Source on Macarthur! read more

I love the Source! I learned about them at the Laurel Street Fair in 2023. I came in for a consult and immediately became a patient. I was able to learn a lot about compression in my back and how that has caused compression in my knees. Since receiving treatment I am able to go for walks again despite a diagnosis of osteoarthritis a few years ago! I have received exercises to do at home to continue my wellness journey and they have helped me considerably! The doctors are caring, patient and they listen. It is a diverse team which was important to me as well. I've had a wonderful massage there, so you can a lot of services right there on site. I have received treatment from all the doctors and all remember me which strengthens the connection I have with them. The office staff members are super friendly and I have a great time chatting with them. I have attended after hours wellness events held at their offices and a dinner at a local restaurant they hosted for their patients. This is definitely a community space and I have run into many people from the local community I know. Plus I enjoy the music. It's always great energy when I come there! I highly recommend! read more

Dr. Hunter has already improved my posture and chronic pain in only a month and not only is consistently providing me with exercises and feedback to keep improving but also worked with me and set up a pay strategy that could help fit my low income condition given all the funds I've had to exhaust on treating my chronic pain! I recommend him to anyone I meet, and I recommend the source wholeheartedly. The folks at the source are super kind and accommodating, and it's a great space for anyone, including people, like myself with multiple disabilities! read more

Disregards public health requirements during Covid-19. Face masks are not required to enter here. Today I was at The Source Chiropractic and 2 of the 5 customers were not wearing masks. All customers are treated in one central treatment area containing 6 treatment tables approximately 4' apart. 3 receptionists are crowded behind the desk, 1 has her mask pulled down underneath her nose, rendering it useless. Therefore, of the 12 people in the front room, with doors closed and no open windows, 3 were not wearing masks at this 'essential' business. The chiropractor asked me to lay down on a treatment table where a man who was not wearing a mask had not been treated. No way, I said. When I asked why they thought it was acceptable to treat customers who were not wearing masks, the chiropractor I was there to see only offered, "we try to educate people." That's not acceptable - any business that is open as an 'essential business' -- especially a healthcare practice -- should uphold healthy standards. There is no sign at the front door requiring masks of customers. I told the chiropractor it is not up to them to re-interpret public health requirements, that I wasn't comfortable being treated there, and that for all their insistence on calling each other Dr. Claudia and Dr. Kate, they can't make up their own public health standards. I left. Only had 1 treatment there previously, during which I was "talked at" and railroaded into a 36-visit treatment plan. read more

The entire team here are amazing and the space is inviting. Came for a consultation over a shoulder injury and they made me a lifer after the first session. The Source Chiropractic is a GOD SEND. I was rear ended a year ago, and I thought everything was good. In August I was barely able to walk, move, or do everyday functions. I was recommended to come here, met with Dr. Malcolm, & we got on a plan. Within 12 sessions, my back went from 50% mobility to 99% mobility. Dr. Malcolm is PHENOMENAL. He took my whole body into consideration (I have knee injuries as an ex-athlete) and has been keeping my body in tune. I receive outside homework they also aids in my well-being. And overall, he has encouraged me to shift my lifestyle to be in alignment to the wellness of my back. The environment is friendly. The people are amazing. Everyone carries warm & inviting energy. I just love it here. Look no further than The Source to get you in proper alignment: mind, body, & soul. read more

Never considered going to a chiropractor...but after my first session here with Dr. Malcom I don't know what took me so long. Being an athlete my whole life I've always been active, but as I've gotten older my body doesn't bounce back the same lol. I swear for the past year (been going since end of 2022) I've never felt better! The biggest thing is here they teach you more about your body and how things are all connected. Overall 10/10 and will continue to come as long as I can! read more

Dr.Jordan Fairley and the team of doctors here have really created a safe community that feels like home the last several years that was so important throughout 2020. The office is a whole experience, the music, the front desk staff being so welcoming, the smells, all of it. Being taken care of here, my anxiety has calmed down a lot. I feel I'm able to breathe deeper, to slow down and actually process all that's going on while a lot of people I know are super stressed out. The doctors have shown me as a student where and HOW is the reason why I've experienced the anxiety as well the dysfunctional patterns leading to shoulder tightness. It is the one place in Oakland and the bay that I feel I can be me, and relax. Highly recommend all to schedule a new patient exam and get adjusted. Life changing read more
