I met Dr. Freddy through my daughter. After suffering from severe Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) and being sick for over a year my daughter was sharing with me all the benefits of chiropractic adjustments and how our central nervous system is affected when we are out of alignment. While visiting the Bay Area from Florida, I was able to see Dr. Freddy regularly for three weeks. His care, his approach to healing was a joy for me as his bedside manner is warm, friendly and tremendously upbeat. Each session I could see or feel how much better my body was responding. RA is a very serious autoimmune disease that attacks not only the central nervous system, but it also attacks muscle tissue, the heart, lungs and the joints. When it first developed I was bedridden for at least 3-5 months, then house bound for another 5 months. Being able to return to exercise to help my healing also required the chiropractic adjustments to keep the flow going. Dr. Freddy is incredible and knowledgable in how to balance all the necessary aspects of living to achieve full health. Exercise, stretching, diet, mental attitude and his expertise of chiropractic. If I lived in California I would put myself fully in Dr. Freddy's hands and sign up to get regular sessions with him. I am and was very impressed with his abilities and his office and co-workers who have a beautiful setting and cheerful practice filled with youthful exuberance. I am 65 years old so everyone seems so young to me. I highly recommend Dr. Freddy and The Source for your chiropractic needs. Eric Schnebelt Sarasota, Florida read more

Dr. Marian is an exceptional chiropractor whose expertise goes far beyond surface-level treatment. When I came to her with unusual lower to mid-back pain, despite my history of thoracic spine issues, she approached my condition with remarkable gentleness and insight. What's fascinating about Dr. Marian's approach is that despite her incredibly soft touch during sessions, the impact runs deep. While I experienced increased tenderness after our initial sessions, this response wasn't from rough treatment - quite the opposite. Her gentle techniques somehow reached core issues that more aggressive approaches had missed. Within just 2-3 days, the pain had completely resolved, demonstrating how effectively her subtle work addresses root causes rather than merely masking symptoms. What sets Dr. Marian apart is her profound understanding of the human body's interconnected systems and her commitment to genuine healing. The fact that such gentle treatment can create such powerful healing is testament to her skill in targeting the true source of pain. Her generous spirit is evident in how thoroughly she applies her expertise to each patient's care. For anyone seeking lasting solutions rather than temporary relief, I highly recommend Dr. Marian. Her ability to create deep healing through gentle, precise treatment makes her an invaluable healthcare practitioner. read more

my chiropractic team was busy and i was desperate for anyone to do an adjustment to my neck. i was in berkeley and looked for anyone with open door and i just showed up. i apologized for just showing up and explained i was desperate for neck adjustment due to a crik in my neck. i handed a real understanding DC copies of my DC file i stopped at home to pick up and take with me for any chiropractor opened that day to look at to see what my regular guys do for me. he quickly looked at it and was obviously tired. he smiled at me and said of course he could do the adjustments i needed. he noted my copy of my file and i took the file with me. i paid him. thankfully as the day went on my neck felt better. i showed up at my business appointment without any lingering crik. thankful he was there. the adjustment was made months ago. finally i made the time to open up a yelp account to start rating business interactions. I like the way his office feels. it feels comfy to me. the location is easy to locate as well. no problems paying a reasonable bill. read more

For years I have wanted to give chiropractic care a try. Having thrown my back out years ago doing squats at the gym and having ongoing outbreaks ever since. I wanted to try something other than pain pills and a heating pad to deal with the intense pain and discomfort. Dr Brendan and the front desk staff were amazing and extremely patient in working with me and others who are new to chiropractic care and very nervous in relaxing during the first few adjustments. I can honestly say that I look forward to my weekly adjustments and know that I am doing something that is helping to improve my overall health and wellbeing. I am happy to report that my back has greatly improved as well as the other alignment issues associated with my body compensating for my back issues. If you've ever wanted to give chiropractic care a try, I highly recommend the Source. And they play the best music to set the mood! read more

The type of care I receive here at the source, is by far the best chiropractor or of three that I have seen over the last 5 years. When I'm there I feel welcomed, safe, where I can express my concerns and get them addressed. The staff is super friendly and I have no idea why I haven't heard of this place sooner. I rave about the care I received to my friends and family and am trying to get them to see the light. I am sleeping, I am managing my depression without medication. You guys are the "Source" to my healing. You are the "source" of my ongoing happiness. I thank Dr Marian for her sweet and kind words, and the encouragement I'm my healing and understanding all I need. The Source chiropractic has changed my life. Minimal to no pain, and now working with DR Marian I am able to identify the "Source" of my pain and stress factors and to deal them in real time. Thank you! read more

I have seen Dr. Freddy semi-regularly for the past two years and will continue to see him because of the standard of care that he upholds. He truly cares about the health and wellbeing of his patients and will make you feel seen and heard. Not only do I feel so much more in-tune with my body after adjustments with Dr. Freddy, but the various issues I have been seeing him for have resolved completely. I greatly appreciate his holistic approach to health and have learned so much about my body, health, and wellbeing from him. Also, as a woman, I am sometimes hesitant to see male providers/doctors, but Dr. Freddy does a fantastic job curating a comfortable safe space and is incredibly respectful and accommodating. I have recommended many people to him and will continue to do so. read more

Finding Marian at the beginning of my dance journey was an absolute blessing. I'd been dealing with intense back pain that took me off the dance floor, which was devastating because dance means so much to me. From my first adjustment, I felt instant relief and noticed a incredible change over time. Marian went above and beyond the average adjustment by also giving me exercises to keep my body balanced and strong, helping me reach a place of being pain-free much faster. Another point to note is that her level of empathy and attunement to energy made for the most relaxing and enjoyable experience. I truly came out every time feeling brand new. I felt her genuine care and investment in my healing every step of the way and am super grateful! read more

I love this chiropractic office!!! I have been to three other chiropractors over the years. I was referred here after having trouble breathing because of a rib that was out of place. I appreciate how well thought out, warm and beautiful the environment is. It is a welcoming establishment, and I enjoy the open, communal style. In my first session with Dr Jordan at the Oakland location, I had a thorough assessment and he targeted exactly what I needed. I moved to the Berkeley office, closer to my home. I have been seeing Dr. Brian for a few months now. I'm so pleased with his work and look forward to all my appointments with him. I feel safe and well taken of. He's a healer. read more

Really enjoy coming to this office, the staff is very nice and compassionate and the office has a very calming vibe. I have been to several chiropractors throughout the years, but I really like the approach here and the videos for at home care are right on point and easy to follow. Dr. Reggie really takes the time out to explain everything and is very patient and thorough. His adjustments have been very beneficial. We have seen Dr. Harper once and also pleased with his adjustments. I highly recommend the Source for your go to chiropractic care. You will look forward to your visits! read more
