Absolutely beautiful coastal looking restaurant. The menu is small but the food is amazing. The service was top notch. I had a cheeseburger that was delicious. My husband and daughter had the fried chicken and said it was the best fried chicken they have had in a long time. I will definitely return.

I have been dying for this place to open! Came for a girls night. I LOVE the way they renovated it from when it was Hops. I miss Hops but this place is a cool addition to this side of town. Hostesses were sweet and server was knowledgeable of the menu and gave good recommendations. I loved the NC Shrimp. Shrimp should only come in this size because they were delicious. The salt on the rim off drink was beautiful and the perfect pairing. Will definitely come back here!

Wow wow wow! I can't say enough good things about this place. I've found one of my top favorite…read morerestaurants in Wilmington. This place gives Miami feels. The ambience has this electric tropic feel, playing a variety of old and new Latin tunes, with lowkey lighting but not so low you can't see anything. The food it's packed full of flavor and the margs are on point! I recommend starting off with the pork belly quac, and a spicy margarita with tajin on the rim I had the Machu Picchu roll(corvina, citrus tiger milk, mango confetti, and more) and I swear was one of the most beautifully creative flavor packed dishes I have ever had in this town. Look, if you are wanting a quick getaway to another culinary world and are tired of the same ol wings, pizza , and beer come check out this spot. Oh! And to top it all off the service was stellar! Also, the restrooms are super clean and well stocked!

First and foremost our server Bella was fantastic, she was so personable and ran through the menu with us even offering suggestions. The restaurant itself is very cool, it's definitely more upscale Mexican and the food more than met that standard. I had the 4 enchilada plate, they are stuffed with delicious chicken and at Bella's recommendation I did 2 with their homemade mole and 2 with the homemade queso, both were excellent. My wife had the cauliflower dish and really enjoyed it, it's not something she gets every day and the flavor really popped, great vegetarian options at Vochas. We had the Maracuyá Tres Leches Cake for dessert and it was next level tasty. Next time we come visit we'll definitely drop by again for an outstanding meal.

The culmination was a lovely sun kissed luncheon on the Crystal Pier seated where we could catch the breezes and see the rolling surf. Having grown up in Wilmington, I was blessed to have the delightful experience of enjoying freshly caught fish lovingly and skillfully prepared by my mother. It has been years since I've truly enjoyed fish. On Saturday, my lunch choice was the Fresh Catch which was locally caught Sea Bass, hand cut and pan seared. It was seasoned to perfection with just the briefest dash of salt and spices and lightly browned by the pan searing. It was served with grilled asparagus and a bed of rice with an elegant white sauce. I don't know when I've enjoyed a meal so much. The lovely end to the meal came with a tempting and delicious slice of Key Lime Pie. Vera G.

Let me paint you a picture…read more It's a Saturday night, the day of the St. Patrick's day parade in downtown Wilmington. Clear skies and 80 degree weather it's an early glimpse of summer in Wrightsville beach and the area is buzzing. Needless to say Oceanic was the perfect spot to bring our parents for dinner that night. I got the Sage-roasted chicken with potatoes and asparagus and I ate every bite of it. I eat chicken almost everyday at home and am shocked at how good this tasted, the sauce was delectable even the asparagus was admittedly delicious. Aside from the food, our view from the corner table was so incredible it bumped my review from a 4 to 5 stars! The whole experience came as a complete shock to me as I had long been told that you pay for the view at Oceanic while the food was mediocre at best, which I can honestly say is simply not the case. I loved every second of my time at Oceanic and highly suggest a visit when you're in the area!
