Reminds me of my parents home cooking once upon a time ago. I've had the O.G wings, Naem Khao, and the baguette sandwich. I generally like/prefer spicier flavor profiles and did not find any of the food to be too spicy but they were definitely flavorful. They also have a featured item of the day such as Mandarin Shrimp Kabobs (which were awesome). The Cuban is a solid sandwich. The fish tacos are awesome; my girls love to get them. For me the star of the show is the Shrimp Po'Boy. A lemon aioli, fresh greens and tomato top the shrimp on a fresh sandwich roll. With a nice bread-to-filling ratio it leaves me satisfied but not stuffed. I love, love, love this sandwich. What makes this truck stand out beyond the great food is what I love about all my favorite trucks and restaurants, the crew running it. Tiffany, Sherwin, and Sean are really good people who are genuinely happy you have decided to come to their truck to eat. Give them a try and enjoy.

I hunted them down tonight at Aegir Brewing in Elk River. I ordered 2 pizzas, one to eat at the brewery and one for later. I got two because I had a feeling they'd taste great. And I wasn't disappointed. I got the "Dude Man" and the "Cool Man". Despite the name, the cool man had some yummy spicy heat - yow! I love some heat. Good stuff. Both pizzas had a nice wood fired mottling on the crust. I could taste a generous amount of high grade Mozzarella Cheese. There were some nice little details too, like a light drizzle of honey on the crust...savory with a hint of sweet...a nice touch. My only (minor) criticism is both crusts were doughy and floppy, a little undercooked. They only needed an extra minute or two on the heat. I'm willing to cut them some major slack, however, because it was only 17 degrees. They were cooking everything under an open air tent canopy and they were all wearing winter puffer coats. Wow, the Red Rocket crew is dedicated and tough - they're definitely native Minnesotans! Red Rocket is pretty new and they told me a food trailer is on order and being built-out right now. After trying the pulled pork tacos and brisket nachos I have no complaints, other than a minor quibble that my tacos were swimming in their own juices shortly after receiving my order. Overall, it seems that the menu is about convenience and comfort, which they're doing a suitable job of. The people working at the truck have always been very friendly and the prices are comparable with their peers.

That day I got the meet the Women that own Wholesoul Eatery's they had been serving there delicious food every Sunday there for the last couple of months at the time. The food was flavorful, colorful, and the seasoning was healthy for me, I ate so good that day that I ran late for my meeting later that day because I had to take a nap.
