Pretty simple menu, tacos and enchiladas with a choice of steak, pork, chicken and birria. The sauces they gave us had a nice bite to it. We had the steak tacos and birria enchiladas. Fresh, tasty, nice touch of cheese and the sauces were a big plus. Tacos were 3 for $12 and the enchiladas was 4 pieces for $12. They also have a variety of drinks. I hope they come back for more Vikings games and other big events at USBS.

Excellent Mexican style food on wheels - 5 stars!…read more I've been having fun checking out the different food trucks that visit the Elk Creek Brewing Company in Champlin. And today I checked out the Sophia's Kitchen mobile food trailer. My food was very good. It all arrived in foam clamshell containers. And my sides were in small sandwich bags that were tied shut with a small knot, Mexican style. It works well. It reminds me of eating at food vendors in rural Mexico. I didn't want to go with the more common Mexican style offerings (like tacos or burritos or fajitas) so I grabbed 3 Papusas - I never tried them before. They're basically like two small 6" flapjacks with roast pork, beans, and cheese sealed up and melted on the inside. They were very good! My meal came with a side pickled cabbage which was good and interesting . It reminded me of American style coleslaw except slightly sour with a tinge of sweetness. The cabbage was bright yellow and I could detect the distinct flavor of oregano. Good stuff. Finally, the salsa complimented my food perfectly. It was sour with plenty of flavor and a slight bite of heat. It was very thin so I just poured it over my Papusas. Finally, I grabbed an order of basic fries to share with my doggy. I wanted to order the loaded fries but I opted for the standard fries since I was sharing them with my K-9 friend. Excellent food, I'd eat it again any time. -Maxx

Kind of a summer tradition and as weather warms up we always look forward to it. This 5-rating is for those experiences, thanks for being a fun part of our memories! That being said, the last 1 or two years the corn cobbs have gotten worse and the flavor isnt the same now. I don't know if its the lady's fault, i know corn has gotten worse at a lot of places. After the third or 4th time in a row we went there and were disappointed we stopped going. Its been awhile since our last visit, i think it was this spring/early summer. I hope the lady is doing well. She was always so nice.

That's a 14% fee. Seems steep to me considering most places only charge 3-5%. Maybe part of it was tax but I can't be sure.
