The Good The Appeal: Located near downtown Frankfort is a Mom & Pop BBQ restaurant that has a menu with a little bit of something for everyone. With the smoker on site and Cat fish Fridays, everyone in your party can find something they really enjoy. The Bad (?): I couldn't really find anything bad about this place and I've been many, many times. I do know BBQ is a lot like Bourbon. Everyone does it a little different. But with the array of meat cuts and flavors, it's a solid restaurant to check out. Overall I love stacks. The staff is always nice and helpful. You can ask questions about the food and they are always read to help you find what you're looking for. It's a very unique little gem in our capital city, you have to try it out!

The booth and benches weren't exactly clean. The menu was pretty plentiful. Had to order BBQ, of course. The brisket was...bland and boring. Everything was just a mediocre a-ok. Edible, yes. Would I ever eat here again? No.

First time trying lunch at this food spot located within the food hall. Nice variety of beef,…read morepork, and turkey mains and multiple side dishes. We visited on a Tuesday 11 AM and service was extremely fast and friendly. I tried the brisket sandwich today with a side of potato salad. There are also authentic Mexican Coca Cola and Jarisco drinks available on the counter cooler. I tried a flavored raspberry lime seltzer which was refreshing and a nice accompaniment to my lunch. Potato salad had a nice texture to the potato and was dressed well. Some of my friends tried pulled pork sandwiches and were complimentary of the food. Each meal was also accompanied by a square of jalapeño cornbread, which was a tad greasy. My order of brisket was fantastic since it was tender and seasoned well. Recommended and definitely plan to return to try more menu items, specifically the turkey panini.

Jucy's might just be the best BBQ in Louisville. From the outside, it has that small-town,…read morerun-down, rural feel--but don't let that fool you. There's magic happening inside. The meats are incredible, especially the pulled pork--it's absolutely divine. The mac & cheese is a standout, and the sides we tried were all delicious. That said, the customer service could use some improvement. We arrived around 7:25 (not realizing they close at 8), and it felt like the staff was already shutting things down. Most of the sides had been put away, and while they said they could grab items from the back, it came with visible annoyance--eye rolls and groans included. We were also told they were out of ribs, but when another customer came in, the story suddenly changed and ribs were available. Would that stop me from coming back? Not at all. The food easily outweighs the service--but don't expect a warm, friendly experience.

Let's start with when we walked in- soon as I walk in, I look over at the girl behind the counter and she had the nastiest face and she had a really bad attitude. So that was my first impression walking in the door. I go up and start ordering and she still has a nasty attitude. Then she slaps my plate down, practically throwing it and it lands on top of the cobbler. I go sit down and the food tasted like it was frozen and reheated. The ham was okay but it was really cold. The Mac and cheese reminded me of frozen Mac and cheese that you heat up. My husband's coleslaw was BAD. It was sour and awful. It definitely went bad but they decided to serve it anyway and his pork tenderloin was super dry and cold. So, I won't be back. It was awful.

This burger had the best flavor and seasoning throughout every bite. Definitely going to go back and get this one again. I also tried the pulled pork. It was good, I added my favorite BBQ sauce once I got it home. They have crinkle fries and home fries, get the home fries! They were so good and seasoned perfectly. I would love them for breakfast! I also took the Beast home, which is grilled cheese on the top and the bottom with a burger in the middle. Everything was great but my burger was very small in the middle, maybe they should put a smash burger in the middle so every bite has burger. Chili was great. The beans had so much flavor. The jerk chicken was a little dry for my taste but it was okay. I'm definitely going back and won just pass it up anymore. Parking isn't very great there but find a spot and get in there!
