I am going to make this review as accurate as I can…read more Scheduled for Tammy to be my hygienist due to some good reviews; I'm very particular about who touches my teeth, so I do extensive research before booking an appointment. Came to the office to find they booked me with the wrong hygienist, which is no big deal, mistakes happen (I knew she wasn't the correct hygienist because I saw her photo on the website as I was reading the bios of the dentists, and scrolling down to the hygienists section, so I had somewhat of a mental image already of who to expect for both my dentist and hygienist). As I was heading out, I spoke with the front-end staff who do the scheduling and let them know that I was scheduled with the wrong person. They informed me that there were in fact two Tammy's, one is Tammy Marie and another is Tammi. I immediately went on the website to search for the name Tammy Marie, and the name didn't exist, her name was simply 'Tammy', so there was no way I would have known that differentiation between Tammy and Tammi, but for some reason they were pushing back at me as though I should have known her real name is Tammy Marie almost as if I had made the mistake. Throughout this conversation, I remained calm and respectful despite this pushback. I never raised my voice. Suddenly, a dental assistant named Hannah came out of nowhere to the front desk area and became actively involved in the conversation with a clear attitude in which I asked her why the attitude whilst I was trying to relay to the front end staff that it would have been helpful if the hygienists names could had been clarified during the scheduling phone call to prevent this. Hannah's level of involvement was oddly strange tbh, but I wasn't trying to get sucked into that either. So I moved to request to speak to the dentist, hoping this simple confusion would be smoothed out and we could move on positively. When I spoke to the dentist, Dr. Brynn Van Dyke, I didn't feel that she had tried to make things right, nothing about her gave good intentions or any sense of care. You know that type of care where you feel when a person genuinely cares about you. I think (and this is my speculation) that Hannah may have falsely gassed her up against me prior to speaking to me as I felt Dr. Brynn Van Dyke came already negatively biased. Actually, when the hygienist, Tammi, later came to the front desk area, my immediate reaction was to assure her that none of this was personal. I told her, "This has nothing to do with you and I don't want you to feel any type of way. I specifically thought I had booked another hygienist based on reviews I had read." It was important to me that I reassure her that because I was sensitive to her feelings as well to make sure she wasn't slighted...that is the type of genuine care for another person that I didn't feel from Dr. Brynn Van Dyke. To summarize: This was a minor scheduling misunderstanding that could have been resolved with a single sentence from any of the staff: "We're sorry for the confusion. Let's get you back on schedule with your preferred providers." I understand things don't always go as planned, and I'm okay with that, but what matters most is not the issues that occur, but how the staff respond to make things right. That's what shows the character of an establishment and team. Being a doctor myself, I personally deal with challenging situations and patients, but I always remain focused on the patient and the quality of care they receive so as to provide positive outcomes and experiences. Unfortunately, I did not get that while being in the patient's chair.

I am glad I did, because it was a good reminder why I chose this practice in the first place. I originally chose to go here by doing my due diligence and reading into the business and real life reviews, I really spent quite a bit of time vetting where I would go to change my smile permanently. This practice checked all of the boxes. They are very professional and kind. No pressure, no telling you that you need more than what you're asking for, they let you make your decisions and provide transparency with pricing. They don't send you automated spam texts for years after visiting and they treat people fairly. I'm very happy with Dr. Tenney's level of expertise and service-minded support. The office staff, dental assistants, neat & clean office and RESULTS are what has made their reputation so great. It's not too good to be true to have a perfect dentistry when you want perfect teeth, it exists right here. Thanks! See my photos, they speak for themselves. My veneers look amazing. This has been the best decision I have made in myself in a long time.

They even squeezed in a much needed deep cleaning on the first visit which was nice. Otherwise I may have chickened out. The process didn't hurt and my teeth/gums didn't even feel that bad after. I tried another place last year and they tried to upsell me, and refused to clean teeth without extra work even after saying how near perfect teeth are. Fast forward to legacy, and wow I found a new spot. My first visit I had some gum disease so had to go back. The service was great! Even though I needed some extra work I wasn't planning on, they helped me every step of the way. They let me know out of pocket before scheduling work. They are so friendly and great. When the doc looked at my teeth, there was no upselling. Unlike the last place he said what was needed and anything else was optional if I want. So glad I found this spot! I will be back!!

Our family had been patients of Dr. Core many years ago and always had a very positive experience…read more After moving farther away, we changed dentists simply because of the distance. About 10-12 years later, we recently realized his office was closer than we thought, and my wife, our two children, and I were genuinely excited to become patients again. Unfortunately, our experience this time has been extremely disappointing. At my first visit back, I was told I needed three crowns and a root canal. Following the root canal treatment at this office, I developed severe trismus and was unable to properly open my mouth for approximately two months. It was easily the worst dental experience I have ever had. Prior to this, I had gone 46 years with essentially no significant dental problems beyond one cavity. I also still have what appears to be crown cement on the neighboring tooth that I have been unable to remove. Despite that experience, I still liked and respected Dr. Core personally and intended to continue seeing him. I was preparing to have a tooth extraction and implant done that I understood would cost approximately $5,000-$7,000, along with another root canal/crown and additional dental work. What ultimately caused our family to leave, however, was how my wife and children were treated over ONE missed appointment. A few days ago, my wife and our two children unfortunatly missed their six-month cleanings because we happened to be traveling in Idaho (the appt was scheduled upon checking out of the last cleaning 6 months ago as you typically do). We were in the mountains with very limited or nonexistent cell service and had no way of communicating with anyone. We absolutely accept responsibility for missing it. I understand that a dental office loses valuable time when patients do not show up, and although $300 in missed-appointment fees is frustrating, I can understand why a practice might charge a fee. What I cannot understand is what happened next. My wife was told that because she and our two children missed this one appointment, we owed $300 AND that all three of them were no longer welcome as patients. There was no history of repeatedly missing appointments. This was one mistake. What makes the situation even more frustrating is the communication leading up to it. When the office needed to collect payment from my wife after her previous visit, they had no problem repeatedly contacting her by phone and/or text until payment was resolved. Yet for an appointment involving THREE members of our family, the only text reminder we received was on the day of the appointment, just hours beforehand. We did not receive a phone call or text at any point in advance confirming the appointments. We were told that a confirmation email was sent, however again we were out of town, and when that email was not replied to confirm the appointment I would assume the office would call and text. I realize that remembering an appointment is ultimately our responsibility, but advance confirmation calls and texts are common practice at medical and dental offices. Had someone contacted us even a few days beforehand, we would have immediately explained that we were going to be out of town and gladly rescheduled. The appointments could have been offered to other patients, there would have been no missed appointments or fees, and this entire situation could have been avoided. It is difficult for me to understand how an office can be so persistent about reaching a patient when money is owed, yet make seemingly very little effort to confirm three appointments before imposing such a severe consequence for missing them. The part that bothers me the most involves my daughter. She has always been extremely afraid of the dentist. The staff here made her so comfortable during her first visit that she actually became interested in dentistry herself. As parents, that meant a lot to us. She was genuinely upset when she learned she was no longer allowed to return. Even after my own difficult dental experience, the trismus, and the issue with the crown cement, I was still willing to continue seeing Dr. Core because of our history with him and because I genuinely liked him. But if my wife and children are no longer welcome because of one missed appointment, I will not continue as a patient either. I will now have my implant, remaining root canal/crown, and future dental work completed somewhere else. The most disappointing part is that none of this needed to happen. A reminder a few days beforehand probably would have prevented the missed appointments. Even afterward, a reasonable conversation and some understanding could have resulted in a completely different outcome. Instead, four patients who were genuinely happy to return to this practice after more than a decade are now leaving. I still have respect for Dr. Core personally, which honestly makes this even more disappointing. We truly wanted him to be our family dentist again.

My husband continued going there and told me that dentist who worked on me is no longer there, same with his assistant who I really felt uncomfortable with due to her unsteady hands. My hygienist was superior, cleaning my gums and stains leaving my smile looking fresher than ever before. Not sure how she did that. Bottom line, anthem dentistry has improved tremendously and I am grateful for their wonderful service. FOUND MY NEW DENTIST!…read more I found Denaro Dental Care from a post online while searching for a new dentist, and I'm so glad I did. From the very first contact, they were responsive, helpful, and made everything incredibly easy. They scheduled my appointment on the exact day and time I wanted and even helped verify my insurance. They were so on top of everything that I decided to go with them even though they're out of network for my plan. They texted me the new patient forms--which were super easy to read and complete on my phone--and stayed in contact, answering all my questions right away. From the moment I arrived, the front desk team was warm and welcoming. I barely waited two minutes before being taken back. I love that they use the latest technology; as someone who's tech-friendly and not a huge fan of dental visits, I really appreciated how much easier it made the process. The assistant who did my X-rays and scans was wonderful--very friendly and professional. I wish her all the best as she continues her journey to becoming a dental hygienist. Dr. Nelson came in afterward, reviewed everything with me, listened to my concerns, and gave me clear options. Most importantly, he was able to fix my issue during that same visit. I've always been uneasy about my front teeth being chipped, and he took the time to file them evenly. They look great now! I'm not sure why my last dentist never offered this simple solution. They kept adding bonding that would eventually chip off. Dr. Nelson is truly the best--thorough, detailed, personable, and has excellent bedside manner. My hygienist, Canli, was also amazing. She was gentle, thorough, and made me feel completely comfortable throughout the cleaning. The entire team is professional, friendly, and courteous. They made me feel welcome from the very first interaction. They are absolutely worthy of 10 STARS! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
