It wasn't because I'd only had chemo a couple of weeks before and this pain and protrusions have been there for months. The guy spoke to me like I was some kind of imbecile and like I was completely uneducated. I have two college degrees one a doctorate so I am by far from stupid or unintelligent. What could you improve absolutely everything this place is now left me in tears twice

They fixed my bridge and my husband and I decided to go to them for future dental work. The bridge they had just made me chipped within a year and when they looked at it they said it wouldn't be a problem, even though the bridge they replaced had the SAME SIZE CHIP. Then why did I need to get the original one replaced? They told me I needed Invisalign and since my insurance paid 100% I went ahead with the work. I, however, had to pay the entire amount upfront. My insurance company made 3 payments. The last payment of $1300 was made about 7 months after we started (March). I called the office seeking reimbursement (I always had to call, they never just put it back on my card) and they said it could take up to a year to receive it from the insurance company. I said it had been sent and they said they didn't receive it. After not hearing from them about the money for 5 months I called my insurance company and they assured me they had sent it 5 months PRIOR. When I called they admitted it was received in March (now August). When I asked why they didn't call me they said "We have a lot of patients). After finishing my Invisalign treatment they asked me how I would pay for the retainer. I asked, "What retainer"? They said the one that is going to cost $800. I advised them nobody told me in the beginning about this expense and after looking at their records they agreed it had been missed. I decided to go somewhere else and had an excellent retainer made for $129. Again, this is another money grab. Subsequently, they set up a teeth cleaning. They were aware that my insurance covers 2X a year cleaning but they set it up a month earlier so that my insurance didn't cover it. Again, looking for MORE MONEY! They also told both myself and my husband that we need our wisdom teeth out. The estimate was VERY high and when I asked why they said that their surgeon was not in the network but we were unlikely going to get someone else to do it for less. I refuted that this was true and went to a surgeon who accepted our insurance and paid a fraction of what they had quoted us (another attempt to squeeze more money out of us). I had a very good high-coverage plan that was coming to an end (Cobra) and I went in for a cleaning and felt like some of my teeth might feel a smidge loose from the Invisalign. They then took an X-ray and said that one of my crowns needed to be replaced. This crown never bothered me before. Since my insurance was ending I asked how much it would cost for me to replace it. It wasn't a problem and I wasn't so inclined. They came back and assured me my responsibility would be $439.00. They said it was important to have this done. They made a new crown and within one week called me to tell me my insurance WOULD not cover it because it had just been replaced a year and a half ago by my other dentist. If it was just replaced, why would I need another one? Suspect for sure. IMMEDIATELY (even though it took them six months to pay me the money they owed me), the front desk started to call and harass me for another $600. Since I didn't agree with them, I asked that I be given the X-ray so that another dentist could look at it. That Dentist also agreed that it appeared to be a money grab. They said they would wait until the New Year before doing anything. Shortly after that, I received a collections notice. With that said, my original dentist was nice but after that it all went downhill. I have never had such a terrible experience with a dentist in my entire life. My husband and I have found different dentists and are much happier with our experience there. I highly suggest that you DO NOT use this office.

I called ahead of time prior to my appointment to make sure my insurance provider was accepted and the mailer offer was valid for myself which they assured me it was. 5 stars for the dentist who saw me, he was exceedingly professional and personable. I don't recall his name. Negative 5 stars (-5) for the dental assistant who carelessly and forcefully inserted the dental bites into my mouth to take photos. She thought I had a mouth like Mick Jagger that opens up really wide. . . I don't. This was a painful experience, some of the bite wings clearly didn't fit but she was determined to cram it in despite my discomfort and increased painful moaning. Did I remind her of a hated ex for some reason? Why would a new patient be subject to this harsh unprofessionalism? After this ordeal was done, I approached the front counter staff and asked about my free gift card from the mailer offer. I was asked to sit down while they addressed incoming patients. 20 minutes later I walked out as I got the clear impression that they did not intend on fulfilling the terms of their mailer offer. Also, feel free to read other reviews posted with similar negative experiences. I truly wish I could have given this place 5 stars but the lack of considerate care and false advertising was inexcusable. If any of the office staff is reading this, I have taken my dental needs to Dentistry at Dove Valley. They are 35 minutes away from my home compared to 5 minutes away from this disaster dental location however the level of care is on par with celebrity level of treatment and I'll drive the extra half hour for that any day!! I wish you all the best, the dental services arena is very competitive and if you keep dropping the ball here, now you know why business isn't thriving. Good luck!!

WORST Business Practice I have ever encountered with. We…read moresaw the $49 Xray, exam, and CLEANING advertisement on their website. We called them and verified that this deal is legit. Set up the appointment for my Mom who is NOT English native speaker. The day of the appointment, They ended up charging her $242 for Xray and Exam ALONE. (No cleaning was performed). I spoke to the dental office and they kept saying that she should have shown the flyer to get the discount. Initially I thought that my Mom did not show them the flyer but it turned out that she actually did show them the website that clearly says at the top the $49 deal. As shown in the picture. There no actual flyer that's so much different than the $49 website showing the advertisement. Yet they took advantage of my Mom for not being able to understand English well. Not only they did not give my Mom the advertised discount, or Cleaning whatsoever, but they enrolled and charged her into a program that she didn't even know what it was when I asked her about it. This is a HORRIBLE business practice you should be ashamed of yourselves.

My husband continued going there and told me that dentist who worked on me is no longer there, same with his assistant who I really felt uncomfortable with due to her unsteady hands. Although I liked my new dentist, thought I would give them another chance. Took me a couple years to feel comfortable going back there, and so happy I did. Both dentists Dr. Williams and Dr. Stevenson are excellent dentists. The staff are very professional too. My hygienist was superior, cleaning my gums and stains leaving my smile looking fresher than ever before. Not sure how she did that. Bottom line, anthem dentistry has improved tremendously and I am grateful for their wonderful service. Only thing that would make them perfect is if they had in office machine that made crowns instead of waiting a couple weeks. I would definitely recommend anthem dentistry in anthem off anthem way.
