It cost $104.97 for three PreSeason discount tickets. We drove almost two hours from Newark to Egg Harbor Township because we heard great things about this place. It's known for having a fairytale-themed park with lots of creative statues and interactive sets that represent popular fables like "Mother Goose" and "Goldilocks and The Three Bears." The location is smaller than most parks I've been to, which is good for little kids who want to run to every ride. In a span of two hours, my family and I got on everything minus a couple attractions. There is ample parking for cars, and the entrance is bold with its large sign and white and red castle. The park played Disney music, which was soo cute! I remember hearing soundtracks from Mulan, Cinderella, and The Little Mermaid. None of the rides felt too scary for kids, even the roller coasters weren't extreme. There's also rides where kids can feel like they're driving a car, and a train that shows you the entire park. My favorite ride was "Bubbles the Coaster" and "The Rockin' Tug." The only issue with this park are the food selections. The lunch that my family had here wasn't good- at least from the cafe right next to the exit/gift shop; everything from the cheeseburger, french fries, and cookies tasted stale and more on the cold side than the hot side. I wouldn't recommend ordering food here, but everything else was great. I don't think I'll visit again only because it's so far from where I live, but this was a good one-time experience that I was able to have with my family. If you're in the area, I would encourage you to stop by and feel like you're in a magical world!

Yes, I was here near offseason so a lot of the rides were already down for the year. Most of the games and food stalls were also down. However, you can at least go on the wheel if you wanted to. Bypass those people and go to the booth to get your ticket. Even if you do visit when the rides may not be open you are able to at least take a stroll and walk around. This is what I imagine a pier to be off of a boardwalk. Bright lights, activities to do. A place to escape a bit into.

The Steel Pier, built in 1898 on the infamous Atlantic City Boardwalk is iconic on the East Coast because of past concerts including Chuck Berry, The Rolling Stones, and The Bee Gees. Today, Steel Pier gives the vibe of carnival. You can smell the seas salt, popcorn, and cotton candy. The rides, food, and games are for kids of all ages, including you. The arcade features a variety of both classic and modern amusements, including Ice-Ball (a variation of Skee-Ball), classic arcade cabinets, crane machines, rail-shooter games, pinball machines, and more. My family and I visited Playcade this past summer while we were on a road trip. I've turned my older son onto arcades in the past couple of years, and he was super excited when I told him that the Atlantic City Boardwalk has no shortage of them. We had visited the Lucky Snake Arcade a day earlier. That place is just HUGE, but I longed for a classic arcade experience and I knew that I could get that at Playcade. They had a nice mixture of old and modern games. The prices were pretty descent too. We played a few games of Ice-Ball and then my son and I enjoyed a few games of "Ice Man". The latter is a rail-shooter game where the players use mounted water cannons to shoot and freeze zombies. It reminded us a lot of "Plants vs Zombies", which we both love. Afterwards, my son redeemed all of our tickets for some fun prizes. Overall, we had a really nice visit. If you love classic arcades then you must visit Playcade!
