The only big steps are the ones to and from the course, so bad knees and backs shouldn't be a big problem. The holes are fun, and there is a lot of stuff to look at. We tried The Lost City today, and it's definitely my favorite course we played this summer. After the first hole, you'll descend into a ... well, you know. The Lost City should be fun for kids and grandparents. There are some steps, but they're not too challenging, and it was much cooler. There's a lot to see, and you can also find some nice spots to sit down. Welcome to mini-golf course #8 We decided to try The Congo Queen this time. Word on the street is it can be a bit scary for younger kids, and with so many steps, it might not be ideal for anyone with knee or back problems. Grandparents with little ones might enjoy the Lost City, which has fewer steps. The holes are quite tricky; we only managed to get one in one on hole #9, and that was pure chance! The course is quite tall, so it can get warm up there, but they've got plenty of spots to sit. There's so much to see, but my favorite was the Monkey DJ. My wife thought the music was too loud; I couldn't tell by the way she was beating me. I thought the music was fine. Please don't tell her I said that!

The referees and all staff do an awesome job of making this a safe place for skaters of all ages. Keep it up! Also, outside, you do have to sign a waiver form for each person entering, and hand it to attendant at the window, inside. For Friday night open-skate sessions must pre-purchase tickets online. You'll get email with barcodes to scan at window inside. $10 per person (includes rental for roller skates or roller blades) even if you're not skating. None of the skates have 1/2 sizes. You leave 1 shoe in exchange for the skates as collateral (lol that's new to me), and you can hide your other shoe under the seats somewhere if you don't want to pay for lockers. I've never paid for a locker in my life and never lost a shoe if that helps.
