A refreshing facial experience -- both literally and figuratively…read more I came in for the introductory facial (just $70!) and added on the LED light therapy per my skin therapists recommendation. My skin therapist was Chelsi and she was fantastic! I loved the vibe -- it's trendy and fresh without being too serious about being a spa or super relaxing/tranquil. It's more of a chick 'everyday' facial spot. Details: - They just focus on facials so they are experts passionate about skin education, skin safety (wear that SPF, you are in a desert!) and ensuring facials and home care support your skin goals - My husband is high risk for severe covid and I have an infant at home. So, I requested my therapist wear a face mask and they were happy to accommodate. They made a note on my reservation and Chelsi was masked when she came to bring me back for my facial. - In terms of the back, there are not induvidual rooms but instead one large room with individual sections curtained off. You have privacy but can sometimes hear other conversations. This didn't bother me and gives the place a more casual feel than a traditional spa. - The music playing is an awesome mix! Not your typical spa music. - SO many great retail skincare products available for purchase, including natural/clean brands. It is a skincare junkie's Heaven!

I don't write negative reviews, and I wasn't going to -- but after reaching out to request a…read morerefund, being refused, asking them to reconsider and explaining my situation further, and then receiving no response, I feel I should share my experience. My appointment started nearly 20 minutes late. When we went in for the body polish the table was dirty and had to be reset, and the service wasn't explained beforehand, which was uncomfortable going in blind as a first-time client. She also had me touch the tan on my body during the service, which you should never do, and it left spray tan all over my palms. I did not have my palms or nails wiped off at the end either. When I brought it her attention upon leaving (as well as other white spots all over my hands) she sprayed more, which I think ended up making it worse. She tried wiping off my palms at that point, but they were already stained. I paid over $80 total -- which is higher than other studios in Scottsdale, and I have never had a bad experience anywhere else. I still left orange and splotchy with the polish and primer add-ons -- photos attached. The girl who did my tan was nice, but maybe less experienced and appeared to be managing the whole studio on her own. When I reached out, the response was "sorry that you were unhappy with your service" -- but this wasn't about being unhappy, it was a service that wasn't done correctly. It feels like I'm being treated like I did something wrong. I was told I needed to come back in for them to review what happened, which would have required me to leave work early, and that since I hadn't done that I wasn't eligible for a refund. They did offer a free tan as a "gesture of goodwill", but I don't have confidence anything would be different next time. When a tan is orange and patchy, the only solution is to remove it and redo once the old tan is gone -- not go back for more. I'll be trying somewhere else. I ended up having to buy tan remover, a remover mitt and went in the pool several times to try to remove the solution and it's still stuck on there over a week later. I wanted to love this place as it's close to home. I hope they use this feedback to improve the new client experience. If someone turns down a free service, that might be worth reflecting on.

Amber is an artist. Until yesterday, I had only gone to Amber for my brows. Yesterday I had a facial. It was amazing. My skin looks today. I'm rocking the no make up look. It was so relaxing, I seriously left feeling like I was tipsy . You can ask Amber about that. I also asked her to bring @human.todd with her (check him out on IG) so I could really chill and enjoy the facial. She obliged. My entire experience with Amber and Sage Organic Skin Care has been fantastic. Amber and I always manage to have some sort of hilarious conversation and I leave feeling . Every time my mom sees me she says "those brows though!" She notices and so have other people. You know your aesthetician is legit when people are noticing. I had the most fabulous facial today. This is a one woman shop & she's been open since last May…read more Her suite is tucked away in the back & is an inside unit, which is perfect for helping you relax & be present for this amazing facial. One of the first things I noticed was how warm & inviting she was. Super nice & clearly had a passion for what she was doing. One of the other things I noticed was this really cool & relaxing light display she had that shone on the wall & the ceiling. It was one of those details that could be totally overlooked but she clearly put thought into it & it made a difference. It really added to the relaxing vibe of the suite. She asked about allergies & made sure the products she was using wouldn't cause a reaction. She asked if I wanted updates about what she was doing &/or why, or if I simply wanted to zen/chill out. I opted for the latter, I definitely needed the zen, & I can say confidently it was needed. I even fell asleep a handful of times. To me, that is a sign of absolute zen but also trust. Even though she's amongst other single room salons, she too, every precaution to make sure the room remained as quiet, dark, & relaxed as possible. She had this high vibration music playing that added greatly to the relaxation of the whole appointment. We did the LED facial & it was really cool. Totally loved it. Something else that she did, which I really appreciated was when she was allowing the mask & LED light to do its magic, she didn't just massage my hands & forearms. Oh no! She massaged them, wrapped them, & then added heated muffs (mittens?). Whatever it was, it was magic. But she didn't just stop with the hands. She did the feet too & added the heated muffs. (Mittens?) to my feet too. Boy oh boy was it amazing. One other thing I appreciated. She has products available for purchase but never once did she push. They were available if I wanted or had questions. I absolutely love when the product is available but there isn't a push or a "you must have this because of X, Y, & Z." My skin looked awesome & I was totally relaxed. I would highly recommend booking an appointment for yourself, your friends, your family, EVERYONE! I will definitely make a trip back to see her.
