My nails were so messed up and lasted only a week as the nail tips just kept popping off. The acrylic was as thick as a quarter and not shaped & filed nicely. I'm speaking from experience! I have had nail & lash treatments for decades and I have never felt so insulted. Too bad. They used to be great. I used to trust this salon. I used to be a client of Jazmin when she worked in a waxing salon in town, and she branched off and opened her own waxing studio in Kailua! Even though I live smack dab in the heart of Ala Moana, I will happily make my monthly pilgrimage over the mountain to see her - she's just that good. The waxing studio is on the second floor of the building, right at the top of the stairs that's facing the parking lot. Her space is super clean and welcoming, with a waiting lounge in the front. I have no idea how she makes something as painful as waxing such an easy experience - it's amazing how smooth my skin is, with no irritation after. She uses hard wax, which is much gentler than strip waxes (or me trying to tweeze each hair one by one...) She's also very meticulous about brows, making sure that everything is as even as possible, and never made me feel like she's rushing through my appointment. I appreciate that she checks with me to make sure that I'm happy with the shape and fullness before I leave the table. Long story short, Jazmin is amazing and worth the drive!
