The front receptionist by the name "rebecca" is horrible and very unprofessional towards customers. A few friends and i who take our pups to the sierra pet hotel have all agreed that this receptionist has been ugly and rude towards us. She has to go. She used unprofessional language and frequently drops the f bomb. aweful service. read more

We've only use this place one time and it was for two weeks. We thought they were very expensive but we needed them and they performed the service. They took care of our two dogs for two weeks, and when we couldn't find a sitter at our home, they were a lifesaver. read more

We dropped off our healthy 6 year old sweet morkie to board there the weekend before thanksgiving . She was there for 4 evenings and we didn't receive a call until it was too late . Our beloved koda was healthy and it made no sense so an autopsy showed she had an empty stomach, severe dehydration and covered in bloody diarrhea. She had signs prior and the owner/ "vet "did NOTHING to help her. No phone call to us until she was going into sepsis shock and it was too late Please please do not send your fur babies there . In addition they are unprofessional, dirty, and there's others who shared similar stories to mine where their pets were neglected, starved, covered in urine, and dehydrated, and got kennel cough from there. This place needs to be closed down. DO NOT GO to sierra pet "spa"!! EDIT: now our other dog who was staying there with koda when she passed away, has kennel cough. Our vet said multiple dogs who have recently stayed there have kennel cough now. Do not board your babies there. read more

I am on the border about this place. The people are super nice, and there are lots of conveniences this place has, but I'm not too sure about it's cleanliness nor the well being or hygiene of the other dogs that come here. It is one of the very few places in Clovis that you can guarantee your will be taken care of if you leave them here long term. Staff is nice and friendly, and what I like most is that they work with All Pets Animal Hospital so they will automatically have their records on file if you take them there. If they will need a booster during their stay, a vet all come in and do it at an extra cost. Average cost I believe is $15 per day per pet. They also offer doggy daycare/interactions, however your pet does have to be fixed and needs to pass the temperate test. This place gets super busy and booked, so I suggest you call ahead of time to book your pet a spot for boarding or grooming. I am not too sure about the cleanliness of this place. The front office is very nice, however when I asked to take my dog to the back when I boarded her, I saw the little cell with a concrete floor and white door with a little window. When they opened it to let her in, it stunk really bad and smelled like several dogs had urinated and pooped =/. I didn't see any urine or poop present, but it is a dog boarding place. I was expecting to smell some type of cleaner and dog smell, but it smelled mainly like urine. When you schedule to pick your dog up, they give you the option of giving them an exit bath. I highly recommend it or else your dog will stink. Sometimes when I received my dog back after her exit bath, she was still wet... Did it not include a full drying???? Also my dog is pretty well trained and obedient. So when I picked her up from here for boarding, she would end up going to the bathroom in the house (after I had already taken her out) and have some very odd behavior (wheezing noises and made hacking noises more frequently). I get that when your pet is not used to it's normal routine, it can exhibit some awkward behavior, but this happened EVERY. SINGLE. TIME after we picked her up for about 3-7 days. read more

My dogs get so happy when I say "you want to go to the hotel", they know exactly where we are going. Makes leaving them super easy and the staff is always excited to see them. I think the dogs love it because they get to play with other dogs often. read more

Our dog was not properly taken care of during his stay. He came home shakes up with bloodied paws and in need of antibiotics.

These ladies and guys take great care of my baby when she is in their care!! And treat her like the princess she is! Prices are reasonable for the quality of care she receives while in their excellent hands! I trust them completely! I've used every service they offer and have not one complaint! Great staff and clean kennels. They have sever sized kennels. I love the huge grassy yard the dogs can run and play in. The last time I took my dogs for a three day weekend I saw that they even pet sit cats and birds. I've also used the grooming service and they spent a lot of time to thoroughly clean my long haired large dog. One of (or possibly the only) groomer in town that would even attempt my 80 lb. double coated fur baby. read more

I don't think they EVER have appointments and they're inconveniently closed on weekends. I've also gotten my dog back still damp and still shedding hair like crazy. And I think they charge a little more than the place on 21st St... I really just prefer to take a trip to Lubbock and drop my dog off out there for grooming while I shop and have something to eat. read more

We've taken our pets here quite a few times due to it being one of the only places in town- after our last few visits we will never take our babies there again. The staff is always friendly however we were told our dogs needed their bordatella vaccine updated and they said they would give it to them during their stay. So we pick them up assuming they received their vaccines, within a few days they were BOTH coughing horribly and $200 later we find out they both have kennel cough. A few weeks later we have another trip planned so we take them back to sierra where we then find out they didn't get their vaccines because "they didn't have the right amount" not sure what that even means or why we were not notified. Well a few days later both dogs start coughing yet again. This incident was the last straw to numerous unhappy visits. We will be making the drive to Lubbock whenever we need to board our babies because their health, wellbeing, and safety comes before the convenience of this place being in town. read more

We had a last minute trip a few weeks ago and I asked around for good places to leave our very large dog. Many people recommended this place. I would also recommend it. The staff was professional and kept good records. They have a couple of options for pets at different prices and they gave me an impromptu tour of the pet areas when I asked to see where my dog would be staying. I chose the larger dog run with an outdoor area. The place she stayed was clean and very well lit with all day access to the outdoor area. Overall, I was VERY impressed with my dog's care. She came home happy and tired after our 5 day trip. read more

Have been using this facility for my 2 maltese for a couple of years now and lately it seems ive been needing them monthly since my husband is deployed. Ive never had a problem. My girls were always happy to go. Staff are friendly and caring. They will take you to the back if you want to see where your baby will be. Highly recommend! read more

I have been skeptical about this day since the first time I set foot in there in 2013. Being raised very close to big cities and moving here from a very large city my standards for pet boarding are very high. Despite the friendly staff the place smells horrible every time I go in there. I have 2 dogs that I occasionally have to board there. Recently, I had the worst experience thus far. My large dog recently had surgery before I had to drop her off for boarding. She was supposed to be on antibiotics for 14 days. Which meant she would have had 3 doses left. She had 6.5 doses left. There was no explanation for this and never got the phone call I was promised. Also, their food scooper was missing. I normally separate their food into baggies to avoid their container to have to be left there. This time I had no choice but to leave the container. So, sometime during the 8 days that they were there their scooper disappeared. When I brought this up to the front desk clerk she said "well we have 85 dogs to look after." What does that have to do with it? You put stuff back where you found it. Their solution was to give me a random, dirty scooper with some random food crumbs caked on it. Gee, thanks for the attention to detail. I feel real confident about leaving my dogs there now. And please make sure you pay for the exit bath or bathe your animal as soon as you get home because they will smell bad when you pick them up. read more

I have boarded pets here once previously and definitely get the exit bath as dogs stink to high heaven even with just a 2 day stay. Today however was unbelievable. It started with questioning of shots I got with another vet. And required a call to my vet to confirm he had received bordatella which I knew I had to have prior to the grooming visit. Spent an hour messing with this issue. 3 dogs groomed, all spaniels in a sport cut. The bill was over $160 and one of the dogs cut was laughably bad. The only reason I booked grooming here was because my regular groomers have been closed due to a fire. Those same 3 dogs are $104. I had a few friends highly recommend the place for grooming. After booking the appt I heard a few things that concerned me and today their actions proved all the naysayers correct. I would highly recommend get your grooming elsewhere and be prepared for "issues" with your dogs shots if you don't go to All Pets. read more
