Although they were busy it didn't seem too loud so that I felt I was able to communicate with Zoe about what I wanted without a ton of distraction going on. She was was very friendly and efficient. She was talkative but not gossipy. She gave me exactly what I asked for and edited the cut where I asked with ease. If there were any criticism to be made it would be that I wasn't recommend any products or informed of what was being used. But that may be a plus for you if you don't like feeling you're being "up sold" during your visit. Another was that this salon offers levels of experience with their different stylists at varying price points. I found this out through their website. Reception didn't inform me of this when I made my appointment. Checkout was fast as well. Although they do take credit/debit cards you can not attach the tip to your payment for service. You must use cash or if your stylist has square you can tip them directly. Over all, I very much enjoyed my experience and will definitely return.

However, my base color was never changed only highlights were added. The highlights also ended up being much more subtle and darker than the reference pictures I showed. I was hoping for noticeable, soft caramel/brown highlights with more dimension throughout my hair, but the finished result looks very close to how my hair looked before. I did tell the stylist that I liked it when I left, but I want to be honest that I only said that because I felt uncomfortable being rude after she had finished my hair. Once I got home and really looked at it, I realized I was genuinely disappointed because it wasn't what I had asked for or expected when I booked the appointment. I understand that hair doesn't always turn out exactly like a reference picture, but I feel like there was a pretty significant difference between what I booked, what I showed, and what I actually received. I was really excited to get my hair done, so it was upsetting to spend the money and leave feeling like my hair barely changed.

Montana asked me about problem areas and focused efforts on those muscle groups, applying just the right amount of pressure, checking in throughout to make sure everything was just right. I've tweaked some things in my back at the gym and these last few sessions have really helped. This is my new go-to spa for massages.
