I chose this place based on proximity and Yelp ratings, but there was no real flexibility when it came to walk-ins. As a local resident, I decided to try a new shop closer to home. By 3 PM, all three barbers were already booked. This place does a decent haircut to be sure, I felt like the cut and fade I got was perfectly serviceable - however the second time around my beard was absolutely butchered. Despite clear instructions on length and style, somehow I ended up with a #1 trimmer cut across the whole length. I think I was partially in shock when finished; had to come home and try to salvage some kind of shape and then let the regrowth process begin. Good thing I grow a beard quickly, but this will be the very last time I come here and probably the last time I let any stylist near my beard without first having seen a portfolio of their beard-specific trims and agreeing on a style first.
