There was a large selection of items from jewelry, hand crafted signs, candles, furniture, etc. All of the items were amazingly beautiful and very reasonably priced. I believe I saw some Rae Dunn items as well...those are a hot commodity I hear! I am a sucker for details. I noticed how they had their business cards displayed (in the pages of a book that was fanned open) and I immediately commented on it. So creative, simple and perfect for this place! I feel it is more consignment store than antique shop in my opinion, as the selection of items being sold, while varied, do not seem antique in anything more than the age. Each booth is fairly different and while the place is not massive, it is bigger than it looks from the road. There is one main room and then a raised space that features several additional vendors. The staff was friendly and welcoming from entry to exit. We were in search of furniture, dining table to be exact, and while there are a few pieces, the selection was mainly side tables and smaller pieces. Overall, I was underwhelmed with 70 South Antiques, but I know these places change inventory almost daily, so since we hit the antique circuit monthly, I am sure we will swing back through 70 South at some point.
