Walking into this place makes you want to redo your whole aesthetic lol. I'm a CA native and let me just say we are doing vintage all wrong. Well most places anyway. No dusty old smell but instead a super elevated vibe. Not so staged that you don't want to touch anything. Lots of options including new items from local boutique type artist. I'm always up for an adventure, (as if my eye thing wasn't adventure enough) especially with any of my girls. Sure enough I said as she pulled into Treasure Village. Right from the get go I knew this place was going to be good. It had that musty smell. You know that smell when you walk into grandma's old house? Come to think of it, when I was young, and I first smelled that smell, I thought that it was grandma. But I soon found that It was old gold just waiting to be rediscovered. After poking around a bit I stumbled upon a real cool huge glass bottle. I've always wanted one of those. I said "hey Missy, check this out" I know, she replied as she was talking to a clerk. She spied it before I did. She was attempting to negotiate the price to a more favorable proposition. The clerk said that she'd have to call the gentleman who is selling it. So we went on with our treasure hunt. This store has a lot of twists and turns, ups and downs in it. Stuff is everywhere. Search closely to uncover a special find. We did and we found. I lost track of Missy somewhere in the labyrinth of rooms and aisles. When we met up again it was by the front counter. I asked if she heard from the seller of the big bottle. Missy said "I sure did daddy, happy father's day!" That girl made the deal and I am now the proud owner of a 13 gallon glass bottle. I love that girl! What am I going to do with it you ask? I'm going to fill it with coins of course. My 5 gallon bottle is full. Quick Tip: Be careful going up and down the stairs going up to the second floor. The steps are about half as wide as normal stairs are. I told my granddaughter that they were like this because back in the day women wore hoop skirts and had to go down the stairs sideways. Oh grandpa she said. Those are my favorite words.

A kindly gentleman runs the place, and he'll invite you in to visit his rooms filled with stuff. Some old, some very old, and the rest would appeal to baby boomers. I being one of those, so the place kept my interest. My daughter found a cache of Barbie dolls that my granddaughter would flip over. She uses them in her YouTube videos. So the blast from the past will soon make an appearance in the media of the present. I found some extremely reasonable baseball cards for my grandson. I guess it's called "new old stock". I'll probably go back for more.....but for me. The gentleman told us that he always has stuff coming in, "so make sure that you come back." I believe we will. Actually, I know we will. There are Barbies on the shelves waiting for their big break into show business. Quick Tip: The prices, for the most part, are very good. My daughter surprised me with a coin bank that only set her back four bucks! I got that much enjoyment out of it by just having it in my hands!

The table, along with many other products in the store, was made from reclaimed wood and metal pieces. The top was 2" thick mahogany and I still paid less than $350 for it. The ladies who work here are friendly and helpful and even told my friend and I all about a festival Nolensville is having the second Saturday in April without us even asking. Now that's what I call small town friendly. There are antiques here that are in great shape and furniture that has that country feel but is completely modern. There are bath bombs, jewelry, clothes, tables, mirrors, and candles for sale among many other treasures both on the main floor and upstairs. It smells delicious as soon as you walk in the door.
