So I don't have any photos of the studio and offices, which is a bummer because there are so many neat things to see. I definitely recommend doing the tour, though! Our tour guide was Ben Blackwell, who is an executive at Third Man, a musician, and oh, Jack White's cousin! He's a cool cat and told us lots of stories about the people who have recorded at Third Man, and the things that have gone down. If you have a chance to get Ben as your tour guide, you will be in for a treat. The tour itself was a little under an hour. The Third Man shop is where you CAN take photos, and it's a good thing because there are also lots of interesting things to see in the shop, like White Stripes paraphernalia, a record listening booth, a Wax-o-Matic machine where you can make your own red wax guitar figurine, an area to play guitars, almost every record you can imagine on the Third Man record label, Maggot Brain magazine (which is published by Third Man Records), clothing, posters and lots more. If you're a White Stripes, Raconteurs or Jack White fan, you definitely need to stop in. It's so neat to be in a studio where all kinds of musical magic happens! And even if you're not, you might become a fan just by visiting.

They had albums and comics and more. And rarely priced at that. I picked up a couple albums that I had been looking for and a few comics as well. He even gave me info on an album that I had been searching for my brother and he pointed me in the right direction. I appreciate that. Going to make this spot my local comic and record shop. So this is a massive bookstore, music store, video store, toy store that specializes in buying used items and reselling them. So if you have an aversion to musty dirty used items, this is not your place. Which I happen to have. However, this is not McKay's fault. It is a great place to offload things you don't need and get a little cash on the side. I have a touch of sensory bias, which is why it's difficult for me to enjoy it. But I totally understand why others do. If you are planning on selling stuff, make sure you get there early. If not, when they open there will be a line not of people wanting to sell stuff just people wanting to get in there to check out anything new that came in the night before. It is always busy so do not expect to come and it not be packed. If that is an issue for you probably not your place. But a big plus is the parking lot is absolutely massive. You will find a parking spot regardless of how busy it is. And to that I give it five stars.
