I've been coming to Luna's Record Shop for the last 5 years and I always am pleased with their wide variety of vinyl and charming aesthetic. You can find just about anything and they tend to be pretty transparent about pricing especially if you're looking in their collectors section or more high end records. The only thing I wish they would do is offer merchandise with some variety and maybe put their logo on the back of a hoodie! Also would love to see them sell some stickers with their logo or get some better designs for their merch. read more

I'm sorry, but their prices are absolutely ridiculous. I would say on average 7 to 9 dollars more than a record should be ...an example a Led Zeppelin I album that they probably got at Walmart that sells for $26. They're trying to sell for $50 absolutely ridiculous. When is a Bee Gees 2 Years On that's a five dollar record worth $12-$15? read more

I've been to a lot of record stores, and this is easily the best record store I've ever been into! The selection is great - and if they don't have it they can easily order it in the store for you. They have amazing service, everyone who works there is so kind, and engages in conversation. The values of the vinyls are mostly around the same price that you can buy on Amazon and other record stores, but sometimes they are priced a few dollars higher, which personally for me I don't care about, because I would rather buy from Luna than on amazon!!! Also they have a great pre-order selection on their website and in their store. This is a must go to place! A wonder of the vinyl world! If you don't give this record store at the very least 5 stars, than you are CRAZY!!! read more

This is a great record shopping experience! The store is located in the upcoming Factory area and is fortunate to have a prime spot. The shop is clean and well organized. He owners are sisters and the manager Cedric is one cool dude. Prices are fair and there is a great selection of used and new vinyl. I was impressed with the 80s/90s alternative section. I would love to extend a warm welcome to this fine new vinyl record shop in Franklin, TN. The greater Nashville area needed a store like this one. It's ran by two very cool sisters, and they are off to a great start with this shop. Plus, they are bright-faced and very friendly. BIG plus when Record Shopping. They have a good small selection of new vinyl, but it's mostly about second hand vinyl here. They have built up quite a nice selection in the short time they have been around. When my wife and I go record shopping it has become a bit difficult for us to find something we want that we do not already have. I saw many titles here that I don't see anywhere else, and we left with a nice little bag full of records today. They use the industry standard record grading system to rate the condition of most of their stock, and each repackaged second hand record has the price on the back, and the grade of the record's condition on the sticker as well. You will know immediately if it's VG or NM! No other shop in the Nashville area goes to this much hassle. Obviously they want you to have a great experience in their shop. Plus, the price stickers are stuck to the plastic sleeve they are in, NOT directly on the album cover. My wife and I and all other serious record collectors out there thank you for this! They also have some nice T-shirts and some other goodies too. They even have some Cassettes for crying out loud! They are located in The Factory in Franklin, so go check them out! read more

A wonderfully organized little record shop! I really enjoy going to different places with used vinyl, and as a collector, I find that some places just throw everything in a bin with little to no logic. I love this shop inside The Factory in Franklin. Very well curated selection of records new and used with an emphasis on indy music and more 80's vinyl than any store in the area. Everything is totally organized and, frankly, the used records are just higher graded and better priced. You're not going to find worn looking $3 vinyl here. And that's awesome. I'm sure that is on purpose. Records are also graded....and graded very well. Also a great rewards card that gets you $10 pretty quickly. I go to Luna quite often. It has become "my"record store. They have a great selection of new and used records and the prices are right where they should be. The staff is the best. They are always friendly. They will always greet you and help you find what you need, but they will also leave you alone and let you look. All of the used records I have bought from them are cleaned and packaged and match the grade that is on the packaging. They also are not hipsterish about what you buy..."oh, you're buying a record from a band that more than 10 people have heard off...how pedestrian." They don't do they. Shop here. read more

This store was recommended to me by customer at the farmers market to find good cassette tapes. So I've checked the store out a few times for AC/DC, Guns N' Roses, Metallica, etc. They never have anything by those musicians for cassette tapes. It's hard to tell if there's workers because they wear normal clothes and something you can easily tell them apart. I'm also have never been greeted by a worker and has taken forever to checkout when I actually find something I want because there's hardly anyone working there when it gets busy. I was really excited to check them out but ended up being disappointed a whole lot. Probably never going back. read more

Brenna and Calvert are just about the nicest people in the record biz. While the store definitely has a focus (late 80s through the 90s Indie/rock/pop), there's a wide variety of used and new records. I've regularly pulled gold from their 2-5 dollar bins. The cleaned and play graded vinyl can be priced a little on the high side, but they have a very high bar for quality and you can be sure what you buy has passed that bar or it wouldn't be out on the floor. read more
