Raven Street Studios was recommended by her son - an outstanding artist himself - and they helped bring our beautiful idea to life. First and foremost Shannon, the owner of the studio - is charismatic and welcoming - from beginning to end. She puts everyone at ease as they walk through the door and is quick to ensure you have everything in place so that your session goes smoothly. In our case, we were over 25+ singing a choir type recording, many had never stepped into a studio much less knew what to expect. Shannon took the time to introduce herself to everyone, gave a good rundown on the studio's history, walked us through the session and offered different ideas on how we could make our time there fun. Her dog lucky helped ease peoples nerves and the staff who were incredibly knowledgeable and helpful set the tone for a great evening. The studio is in a word - amazing. From it's rich history, to the many artists who have passed through it's doors to the incredible equipment peppered throughout... there is no shortage of things to see, learn and marvel at. Finally, the resulting recording was everything we had hoped it would be... and so much more. We sang, laughed, hugged and reminisced - it was a magical evening. You will just have to bring in your own guitars and bass and plug in and go. At Levels we have nothing but the best equipment to allow you and you and your band or your friends can achieve whatever sound you like. All the instrument amplifiers, the PA system and the drum kit are included in your rental. Our gear. Here at levels we have all of our sound equipment running through our PA system to replicate a live club gig, also we can provided recordings of live floor jams if you are interested in that. I got home after checking this place out, literally an hour after I wrote this review…read more And overall, I liked the place, the people were nice, I asked one of the guys If I could try out one of the SG/SG-Style guitars, it was fun. This may help me out if I decide to buy an SG, additionally, one of the other workers helped me out with how to figure out the amplifier for distortion and gain, very helpful. Another thing that's interesting is that I didn't necessarily have to them if they could bring one of the guitars down, which I guess is mid, because I was obviously not trying to drop a guitar while trying to be able to try playing it and see what it was like. But otherwise, it was fun, the place was nice and organized, I definitely look forward to coming again.

I was told that the cost of repairing my acoustic guitar would exceed it's value which I agreed. although I did not get the work done, guess what the repairman did anyway? He did two different adjustments @ N/C and I notice that at least it plays better now and I can still enjoy getting some playing time out of it. I have been doing business with Spaceman/Songbird for years and will continue to do so and recommend them whenever and wherever I can. Chris(a happy customer)
