The whole experience was perfect, so I decided to order nice bamboo shades for my family room through them too. These took a while longer but they're beautiful and fit perfectly. I am currently visiting my elderly mom in Ann Arbor, MI. I was helping her fix things around the…read morehouse, one of which was to repair her living room vertical blinds. They were not closing, it looked like a hardware problem! On investigating, I learned that she had replaced the track a couple of years ago. The house was built in 1998 and the blinds worked fine for 20 years at which point there was an issue with the track that was replaced two years back. I further learned that the track was installed by her handy man instead of a professional blind specialist. Being on a tight budget and wanting to be green, she really wanted to see if the blinds could be repaired at a nominal cost. Some other blind specialists had assessed to "replace the blinds both hardware and the veins" because they were not repairable, which was the very expensive option. I kept asking the fundamental question that the blinds worked for 20 years with the old track and fail after 2 years with the new track....could this be the quality of the blind hardware perhaps? It turns out that part of the problem was a faulty installation by the handy man. This problem led me to the PHENOMENAL Josh Barron of Esquire Interiors (which by the way is a third generation family run business I later learned), he impressed me with: 1. His excellent listening skills with my mom to understand the problem with the blinds and then solving the problem very methodically and precisely. He asked my mom thoughtful questions and genuinely wanted to understand the issue and when he sensed that mom was struggling to explain he did a FaceTime call with her which made it easier for my mom to show him the issue at hand. Josh was able to determine on the phone that he strongly felt that he could repair the blinds at a very reasonable cost. Thus saving her a big expense! 2. His knowledge, competence and tenacity at problem solving the issue was truly inspiring. He tried many things to diagnose and fix the issue. There was a lot of trial and error as he eliminated possibilities and then the problem was fixed!!! 3. He graciously agreed to look at mom's other blinds and fixed their minor issues, shortening the blind in some places due to the house settling and lubricating the tracks as necessary. He did all the extra without charging. This is how we take care of our seniors! Thank you, Josh! Josh is very competent (knows his trade very well, I learned he was working with his dad building tracks at the tender age of 8!), very customer centric, and very high on integrity and compassion....a winning combination! He will be our "go to" person for all things blinds from now on and when we are ready to get new blinds....we will go to his business. Minty

Instead of replacing all the windows around the house like all the window selling people are telling us, Rob offered to fix the windows for a much better pricing. We are so happy with the result we asked them to remodel our three bathrooms. Again, their quote was better than the other 8 companies we compared with. Their timing and flexibility was better as well! Throughout the process of bathroom remodeling, they were extremely helpful, accommodating and easy to work with. From picking tiles and helping us with the pickup (usually pretty expensive), to going out of their ways to seal cracks for us on the wall and hanging paintings for my mom. They even offered to walk my dog when they were working with us. They are excellent at what they do. See images for the before and after of the bathrooms. We love our 3 bathrooms now. They were able to accommodate everything we asked them too. Including changing old electric outlets, adding a shower in the guest bathroom, and switching the vent to a heated vent. They even helped to fix my kitchen sink that a plumber failed after trying for 3 days! They are also honest people. I did notice a cracked window and Rob immediately ordered a new one and covered the cost. So they do honor their warranty on their work. Overall, would highly recommend them for their excellent work, very fair pricing, and being such good nature people!

A major beam in our sun room was screwed in incorrectly by Roberts people. The beam fell from the ceiling hitting another contractor. Thank god the contractor wasn't injured.

Our house was missing a few storm windows, and had a few others due for replacement; I ordered up a set from Robertson's. The largest panes wouldn't fit in my little car, so I asked about delivery options; Robertson's doesn't deliver, but will give you a business card for Metro Delivery, which worked out just fine. Prices were on par with Home Depot or Lowe's, but the flexibility, responsiveness, and overall experience were a world better. The windows themselves are nicely made --- I wouldn't go as far as "works of art" as they're fairly low-tech (strips of gasket, mitre-cut aluminum), but reasonable materials and solid workmanship. Definitely my go-to for screens & windows, either normal-ish or very custom.

They backed up too far towards garage and dented the gutter above my garage in two places about 18 -24 inches apart . It also dislodged the downspout on left of garage. The gutter had to be replaced; it cost me time to find a company and 385 dollars for install of a new gutter. At first I thought it was an Amazon truck that was at fault - the height was right. But then I looked at the photos and the placement of the dents. As soon as I saw the Wolverine Glass truck again on 11/8 (my installation was delayed) with metal stuff/ladders sticking out about a foot from the back end of the truck, I knew based on my photos that they had done it. Their demeanor with me was also very different from the first time they were here - they knew I knew. I am owed an apology - and the company's insurance should pay for the 385. In addition, the customer service was below par. They never did courtesy calls to confirm appointments; I always had to call them to confirm. And at the end, I did not even receive a thank you - dirt on shower floor and an invoice via email for the last 50% of the bill. I do not recommend them.

I just checked with Michigan roofing codes and there is no such change in layers. Double layer is acceptable in all Michigan cities. I also checked Go To Roofing for verbiage. Posted on their site shows they do double layer roofing. I don't like being conned. I believed rep as being trustworthy. I did have an option but it wasn't given to me. I called roofing due to possible leak in upstairs back bedroom.

She is BRILLIANT at color and lighting, and does all of the legwork to find other materials that complement the project. She came back with a range of recommendations that all reflect what we discussed. (At the time I was redoing all of the rooms in a small home on the West side). Everything was completely affordable and in almost every instance I went with her suggestions. Shortly after doing all the work I put the house on the market and got RAVE reviews on everything. When I moved into my new home, we needed to paint and do a few other upgrades. Again, Cindy came to the rescue and ten years later, I'm still getting complements on the paint colors and other advice she gave me. She's now helping with a kitchen facelift, and I'm so grateful to have her guidance. I've learned a great deal about how to pick things and make them work together in the time I've spent with her.
