If you are a procrasturbator like me, you may need a little something to get you into the mood. Or at least catapult you into a sesh with yourself. Before I tickle the ivories, I like to set the scene. Yes, you must learn to romance yourself before you can romance others. Vajazzling is too fashion-forward for me, I like to keep my sexy retro-stylo with the usual array of things on strings and vibrating machines...or a penis. When my penis vision is malfunctioning or getting a tune-up, I like to up my mattress- mambo- for- one cred by hitting up places like Sexy Shop. Corsets , cinchers, butt plugs, anal beads, lubes and lotions, Kama Sudra products, g-strings, Halloween costumes and stripper heels( your basic Drag U dressing room) abound at Sexy Shop. The most unsexy thing about this place is the attendant. She will follow you around the store like a dingle berry on a hairy buttocks. I assume that they see many a colorful character here and it's just a part of her gig. As a matter of fact, a young, dread-locked patron entered the premises asking for aphrodisiac pills for he and his lady friend while I was there. He seemed very cracketty and rickety. Instead of going for pills and lotions, might I suggest a shower? Just sayin'. When a shower- head nozzle masturbation sesh won't do, Sexy shops tawdry treats can't be beat...or can they? read more

Absolutely horrible experience the guy followed Us around trying to force us to buy the most expensive items in the store. We tried on a few items and he watched us and dressed as while we were naked and then when we decided to buy different items and not the expensive dresses, he was trying to get us to buy he complained said that we messed up his dressing room and that we wasted his time even though we bought other items read more

I bought a couple of dildo and underwear that is sexy and I love it here and I am really proud of the owner

Nixon fue súper amable, me asistió en mi compra. Me encantó el servicio y lo que compré!

The attendance was super helpful in information and giving us the proper items needed for me and my partner. Nixon was extremely helpful

I went to buy a gift for my friend. The second i walk into the store i was followed around by this man who wouldn't leave us alone. he asked if we needed help and we said we were just browsing and he continued to follow us into every room just watching us. and then i went to send my friend a picture of what i was think about buying her this lady said "just in case no pictures" as if they have something to hide. do not recommend wasting your money here. read more

WHAT a HORRIBLE experience. Went here for some Halloween accessories and we were followed the entire walk thru in the store. Well, we forgave her because this is probably what management has programmed her to do...and she did it WELL. There was an item I had a question about, I asked her about it, but she didn't know the answer and we weren't ALLOWED to open any packages! Ok, I figured I'll just buy and hope it ends up right!! Sooooo, as we're leaving, the items that we paid for beeped through the "don't steal" sensors. The clerk asked us to come back in as she passed all the purchased items through the sensor again....FINE. We walked out again and it beeped again...please come back in she says, WE DO! She then proceeds to take the item OUT of the box---the same ITEM I ASKED IF I COULD SEE, and was told NO to see if we had stashed anything inside the box....of course she found nothing, even if we WANTED to we couldn't as she was RIGHT behind us the ENTIRE time. Honestly, I would have returned everything, but the woman was so programmed and slow, it would have frustrated me EVEN MORE. I left and I WAS PISSED...If you treat all your customers like thieves, your customers will NOT return! NO NO NO...never ever again! read more

Horrible experience! Since the moment I walked in they were too busy talking to one another to even notice that I came in to their store. The short blonde Lady approaches me where I am looking at some lingerie pieces on the rack and makes Eye contact without even asking if I need assistance. The look on her face was one of uneasiness and made me feel uncomfortable , as if I was going to steal something pffff!!!. I approach one of the stockings to take a look at the box and she yells out do not open it!! She says that if I needed help one of us can help and walked away. I responded are you going to help me then she turns around points at the obvious writings on the box and I say thank you very much and leave. So turned off by the bad customer service! this is one place I am not returning to. read more

I shop here at least once a month. I'm always looking for new costumes for events, parties, and of course for personal use ;-) so I tend to buy a LOT of lingerie and exotic wear. This shop always has what I'm looking for. They have a great selection, and plenty of color and size options. They have everything from sexy boudoir style lingerie to items even an exotic dancer might hesitate to wear. They have styles to suit all tastes, and plenty of accessories to complement them. They have a nice selection of gloves, tights, garters, leggings, etc, as well as masks, wigs, jewelry and a small adult toy section. Everything is fairly priced, even swaying more towards the cheaper-than-I-expected category. They have an entire room full of shoes. Cute styles, and very durable. Also priced perfectly. I'm often astonished how cheap things are here. The prices are perfect and the staff is friendly. They are usually willing to give a discount if you ask. (plus!!) read more

Nice stuff but very expensive. The older lady was so rude and unprofessional, I don't know her name. I wanted to try on 2 similar outfits that were different colors and she snapped at me telling let it be the last 2. I only had tried one 1 outfit before that. So I was like what the heck, and she was like "I mean it's the same thing" With a rude face. It shouldn't matter , I'm spending my money on your expensive stuff you should let me try one wtf I want. At that point I wanted to just leave but I really liked the heels I was gonna buy. And she would also come up to where I was shopping and fix the hangers roughly like trying say I was messing up the stuff which I wasn't . I felt as if I was a bother. She was also gossiping and cursing loudly. Smh read more

The Women working in front followed me and my friend around the store as if we were going to steal something. When we asked for help she was talking on the phone and and didn't bother to help us because she was busy fixing the store and blaming us for things that fell and said we "threw them". I will not be coming to this over priced bad quality store. She didn't even bother asking us if we needed help when walked in. I recommend going to Tokyo Valentino, it's up the street and open 24hrs. Do not come to this little claustrophobic box. Not even worth 1 star. read more

I really don't know what to say about this woman and her way of doing business. I agree with the others that stated that she is rude, paranoid and unprofessional. In fact, it is possibly that she is just plum crazy. My goal was to find some stockings for a photo shoot for a calendar for my sweetie (boudoir shoot). I am caramel brown and an extra-large (size 14), I can not wear nude color stockings and if I could, I wanted black, red and pink. When she came out with the nude stockings I clearly told her that I could not wear the nude and I wanted black with lace tops. MIND YOU- SHE GOT THE STOCKINGS FOR ME- NEVER ALLOWED ME TO HANDLE THEM AT ALL- AND WHEN I GOT HOME THERE WHERE 2 NUDES WITH LACE, and 1 nude without lace and one red without lace. I called this crazy lady to see when I can exchange them and she went into a rant about how it was my fault because there is a part in the pack where you can see the color. She NEVER showed me and I was giving this person the benefit of the doubt that she was giving personalized service but what she did was slip her garbage (unusable by me) in a bag to the tune of 22.00. I will stick to online shopping from now on (LOL) if this is what live people do! The phone call was surreal. It was one of those WTH just happened moments. To top it off, I am a size 14-16. I shop regular racks at regular stores but of course, plus hosiery fits better. I asked to see the corsets. I have a 38 ish to 40 back. This woman pulled out a 3 or 4X when there are many 1Xs that I cannot fit because the regular XL fits better (I am hippy but not very bustier). She was rude AND offensive. I worked in men's clothing when I was younger and I could almost always size a customer's suit size by eye. I am not sure what this lady's thing is. Maybe it is a color thing (I hate to go there) or some other thing, but it is her loss because in the last few days I've purchased a bunch of photo shoot outfits but no more of my money will this lady Ms. Betty get! This is the VERY first bad review I have ever submitted but this lady's treatment of people that help support her business is ridiculous. I trusted her to put what I asked for in the bag since getting, touching or handling her precious products are out of the question...and she just gave me some junk and blamed and screamed at me over that phone. I didn't want a screaming match so I never even went back. SAD WAY TO DO BUSINESS! read more

Very uncomfortable experience especially with the owner who is super RUDE, on top of you as if you were going to steal something. Made me feel as if i was bothering her... on the other hand her employee CAROLINA who was super attentive and helpfull, very nice lady i actually bought what i was buying cause of her being so sweet if not i would of dropped everything and taken my business somewhere else.... read more

this place is amazing. Customer service is excellent. Look for Tiffany she goes beyond and she is very helpful. Very friendly staff and knowledgable about the products. We walked in to do bridal shower shopping and didn't even get as much as an hello. The entire 30 minutes we spent here we weren't asked if we needed helped and that is the same way we walked out of the store on Wed October 14th, 2014 at 4:58 p.m. One woman walked in and the attendant serviced her. FL and some individuals in this state have the worst customer service. read more

The girls in here are great. Helped me pick out two corsets for work. Love the individualized attention.

My friend and I are both African American and were watched as if we were going to steal. If I could give no stars, I would.

I needed to get some last minute items and when I arrived, I saw a hand written piece of paper on the window that said, "Gone out for lunch. Will be back in 30 minutes". I arrived there at 3:00 in the afternoon. I have never seen a BUSINESS just randomly close their place for 30 minutes and I find this very unprofessional and rude of the owners. I am not a fan of this place in general because previous times when I have come here, the owner acts suspicious towards the customers as if she expects them to shoplift. They clearly do not care about their customers at all and I would rather go to a store that stays open during their business hours and end up paying more than drive out of my way just to see a gone out to lunch sign. The one star reviews of this business are completely accurate. Buyer Beware. read more

Worst experience ever. The person who works there follow us everywhere and fixed everything you touched. she was on the phone half the time. I agree with Rula. I came to the "sexy shop" the day Friday before Halloween with my lil sister and boyfriend. After shopping around my sis and I had some questions and asked a short older hispanic woman for help. Well apparently, that was to much to ask for because she rolled her eyes and was EXTREMELY rude to us the whole time. At one point my boyfriend and I were discussing a cute corset they had and whether i should get the red or the black one. Well my $79.99 must not have been good enough because she rudely said "Go to party city, thats where all the undecided ppl go. This place is only for ppl who know what they want." (Literally her words : (..........and if that wasnt enough to make me come write this review, when we got to the register my sis was sooo excited to get a bumble bee costume only to find out they scam ppl by labeling things the wrong price. The price sticker said $12.90 and the cashier said it was $49.99. I work in retail as a Store Manager and NEVER EVER in my life, even with the worst customer, have I ever treated paying customers sooo disrespectfully. I expect that from a high end store like Louis or Gucci but not some stripper store on biscayne. If only the service had been better I would have loved to come back and shop : ( read more

This store has potential to be an amazing adult store but based on my first adult store experience last night I'll be sure to take my business somewhere else where I won't be scolded at and followed everywhere. I came in last night with one of my closest girlfriend on a spontaneous trip. We were immediately followed everywhere we went and everything we touched offerened the old lady. Get this, I grabbed a product and placed it back a rack, and quickly came running after and said "don't touch if you're not going to out it back where it belongs" under her breath. I wasn't even paying attention, my girlfriend was baffled at the old lady. I didn't mind at first but we kept shopping. We started to feel some toys and one of the "feel here" example fell out and AGAIN she quickly ran to put it back in...which I already did. The lady solely made the whole environment hostile and my girlfriend went ahead and commented "wow, you're on top of things..." and she stated how people steal things. Well...you're in retail. It's inevitable. It's no excuse to treat every single shopper so bad, it reflects on you immensely and the store itself. While we were at the register two other ladies were in the costume section and the old lady wasn't even paying attention to is, she was looking at the cameras to see if they'd steal anything too. This experience was foul and plain bad. Please take your business elsewhere, you don't need to be this awful store on Biscayne while fighting traffic too. There's a shop on 167th, shop there if you want to be left in peace. This lady is too stuck up on expecting petty thefts that a lot of products have the wrong prices. Sayonara old lady. All these negative reviews hit the nail on the head. read more

I can't believe how this place treats its customers, and don't see how they are still in business. Went in with my husband and right away a women asked what she could help us with. Sorry but I'm pretty sure I'm not alone in saying that we don't need any assistance in selecting a new vibrator from some very strange women. Then the lady proceeded to follow us through the store and into the toy section where she stood behind us staring at everything we touched. After a few minutes of looking and feeling extremely uncomfortable she said we needed to hurry up because they were closing in 5 minutes. I was going to just grab something to buy quickly until she started saying how we really needed to go. Who does business like this?????? Never going back to this horrible sex shop, and will advise anyone to go anywhere else. Ended up going to a great place on 163rd where the gentlemen behind the counter didn't breath down my neck, and I was able to find what I needed. Stay clear of the sex box you will leave feeling very irritated and confused. read more
