Have to say, awesome show. Saw The Setup once in San Francisco and it doesn't disappoint in LA.

There are some stairs to get up, but it was very spacious and had a lively ambiance! The comedians were hilarious, and I could definitely see myself coming on consistent Tuesdays with a lineup like that! It felt more underground than the more mainstream comedy spots, which was refreshing & felt like the comedians were hungrier! The service was great, but my only complaint would be a lack of food options. I believe they only had popcorn and perhaps a pretzel. That definitely wasn't sufficient for me for the time we were there! But food aside, it was a great spot and I definitely see myself returning!

Ended up ordering some pizza and wings, to enjoy the comedians. Second time was a little better, hence the 4 stars. I think this place would be an amazing 5 star location, if they sold food. Customer service is okay, and they only had 1 server on hand. I wish they would have closed the rear windows by the reserved tables, it was raining and the back of my neck was getting wet. Overall, I'd give this place another try, I like the whole layout of the place, and the comedians are funny as hell. #1 Sell food That's it. Only downside.

Although we were all technically legal adults, I still think there is something very sleazy about an authority figure in his 40s swaying 18 and 19 year old aspiring actors to perform nude with him. Of course, he tailored his messaging toward empowerment-- all bodies are great bodies, and all bodies are welcome. The reality, however, was that most of these students were recent L.A. arrivals with little working knowledge of the entertainment industry. It's hard not to recognize the power imbalances at play and potential vulnerabilities being exploited. Having said that, I will not disparage the talent that came out of these shows, and I will commend the owner's rules regarding privacy (no cameras allowed) and hygiene (towel is required).

Nude Comedy LA is a local small theater group that not only offers amazing entertainment, but practices all-inclusiveness, and body positivity as well. In addition to comedy nights, they also offer karaoke, open mic, various events via sponsors, and refreshments including wine!! Refreshments are cash preferred Niambi the goddess mc/hostess with the mostest and expecting mother-to-be is amazing! Great opener and all-around entertainer. Didn't get a chance to chat with her after the show but she's good vibes times ten. The parking in the area is very much street with both residential and metered spots down and around Tujunga Ave between Moorpark and Woodbridge. They do have restrooms inside though theme nights and shows don't typically run too long. Allen Levin, the owner, is a saint fielding calls for questions and managing sales and lineups. Definitely had a great and positive experience with NCLA and would attend again.

We went to see different comedians last night and were very satisfied with the service and the ambiance. It is fairly a small venue with good vibes, good times, good energy, great comedians, and last but not least, great hosts. I believe there were 5 to 6 comedians for last night's show that started exactly on time. We weren't that hungry, but since the 2 item is required we got couple of drinks, Chicken Street Tacos, a burger & Garlic Fries. Obviously we shared them all. The Garlic Fries stole the show for both of us. I have been to this lovely comedy club in the past and saw some of my favorite comedians: Arsenio Hall, Dave Chappelle, Daniel Tosh, Margaret Cho, Sebastian Maniscal's and Craig Robinson. Once you enter the venue, they take away your phones, lock them up and after the show, you will get them back. Excellent comedians, we had a good laugh, place was very clean and so were both bathrooms, full bar. They charge $18 for valet, but we parked on the street. Go check out this place if you already haven't. As some of us know, "laughter is the BEST medicine". Thank you all very much for a lovely time & great hospitality!!

We easily found street parking. When you enter there is a friendly hostess at the front who told us how to get back to the main stage. On entering you'll see a wall of comedians photos that is pretty impressive. We made our way down to the entrance to the Ice Box, a private room adjacent to the stage. We were served drinks in the Ice Box, which had plenty of comfortable seating, bottled water, and drink service. I had their watermelon cocktail here, which was $17, like all of their cocktails. It was delicious, made with fresh watermelon juice, tequila, lime juice and soda water, with a slice of fresh watermelon on top. It tasted really good, but I don't think it had much alcohol in it. Next we moved into the main stage area where we first sat in a 2seater with a small table in between the chairs in the pit, but decided to move back further to get a better view and not be right in the action. The hostess was kind enough to show us where the available seats were, and she let us choose which we wanted. We chose the last row of counter seats. I think it was row W seats 17 and 18 which were just perfect for us, as the counter had a place to put our food and drinks directly in front of us, and we could see the action, but not be in the action. The seats are very comfortable by the way. The first comedian was fantastic. I wish I caught her name. I think it was Jen. Another female comedian came on after Jen and she was fantastic as well. Then Jen came back for closing. The two comedians kept us laughing throughout with their clever jokes. We ordered the Brussels Sprouts, the hamburger sliders, and fries. The bowl of sprouts was enormous, and delicious. Highly recommend. I would absolutely order them again, and there is plenty of them in one order - you could probably serve 4 people. Fries came out hot, crispy, salty and delicious. I did not try the sliders but my husband said they were good. I tried the "rising sun" drink. It was vodka, ale, lime, soda I believe and a salted rim. It was delicious. My husband had a grey goose martini which was perfect. Our server was fantastic. She helped me choose my drinks based on the fact that I didn't like anything sweet. She was very attentive and just lovely. There are plenty of restrooms. Bring a sweater as they keep the room pretty cool.
