The setting was beautiful - a creek runs through the property creating a serene and relaxing atmosphere. Once I stepped inside, I was transported to my Vecmama's house (my Latvian grandmother who is now deceased).......the smells were wonderful and I was in my happy place. The ambiance was so awesome. Sara-Ann was so sweet and genuine. She took my daughter back to the treatment room for about 20 minutes. When she came out for her hair cut, she looked like jelly, she was so relaxed. She said she had a nice scalp massage and had a wonderful hair washing. She did a great job talking to my daughter and asking about her and giving her the perfect hair trim. My teenaged son was with me and he enjoyed the foot massage machine in the waiting room. We ended up having her cut my sons hair as well. The prices for a buzz cut were a lot higher than other places (20) but I enjoyed the atmosphere and talking to Sara so much, I thought it was worth it. I also like shopping local. Every thing about this business is awesome. It is a drive out to her business and it is expensive (most salons are) but you get what you pay for. Although I can't afford her treatments on a regular basis, I will definitely come back for a treat for my kiddo every once in awhile and maybe me too! The spa is very clean, minimalistic, and welcoming. I loved all the humorous signs and products they offer. Pamalee was on time and very nice to talk to. She made me feel very comfortable and eased my nerves. I have never had a Brazilian so I don't know what to compare it with but based on how painful everyone says it is I would say she is amazing because, although not comfortable, the pain was relatively quick and was short lived. Pamalee is a professional and has been waxing a long time and it shows in how she explained things, how efficient she was, and how comfortable she made me feel in what could be a vulnerable and embarrassing procedure. The prices seemed on par with normal prices in the area for similar services. Easy parking. The business is right next to Outback Steakhouse.
