Ellie is an absolute gem. My husband and I first worked with her as a sleep consultant during a…read morebrutal 18 month sleep regression for our daughter. Both empathetic and whip-smart, Ellie helped identify specific actions we could take to get sleep back on track. It was so reassuring to make a plan with her and to have real time follow up so that we could course correct and adjust as needed. When we encountered some challenges with the 2 to 1 nap transition, Ellie was the only person we wanted help from and once again she was exactly the resource we needed. We also felt SO supported by Ellie as a birth and postpartum doula for our second child. Using zoom, email, text, and phone, Ellie was like an expert big sister in the weeks leading up to the birth, as well as in the beginnings of labor, and most especially in the early postpartum period. The birth escalated so quickly that there wasn't time for zoom support, but honestly the postpartum support alone was invaluable (and thank goodness for Ellie's nudge via phone for us to hightail it to the hospital-- our son was almost born in the car). Her expertise in sleep and lactation along with being a thoughtful and experienced mom of three... I truly can't speak highly enough. We will forever be grateful to Ellie for helping us grow into happier, stronger parents, and she will forever be our go-to for all questions parenting / birth / sleep!

On my job hunt, I encountered a five guys manager who went to the same school and never got a job in the field. (Which I was later informed, you could if u paid downstairs) beyond that fact the massage rooms were cold.. I had chills all over for the whole hour and not once did she offer to turn on the heating blanket. I ALSO spoke to a person earlier saying I like deep massages in my back only so I'm not sure if I should do a deep tissue or Swedish. They insisted deep. Due to that a hole was burned into both my arms and thighs. She would've noticed me trying to jump away from her fingers or tensing up if she wasn't talking EVERY SECOND IN THE ROOM. I truthfully know everything about this person. She honestly sounded nice but I should NOT be hearing about deaths and Aweful things about her life while I'm trying to RELAX. I barely spoke back and somehow the conversation just never stopped. I also verbally stated and physically wrote on my request sheet the MY BACK was my major concern and priority. She stated she wanted to save my back for last since I wanted it so bad. 45 minutes breaking my arms and legs and a little pressure on my back for 10 minutes. It was aweful. I could she was trying to avoid showing me I still had knots by lightly sliding up my back at the end when in reality I left in pain and more sore then ever. And if that wasn't enough... At the end of the session where you fill out the review of how they did it wasn't even in privacy. The secretary went home so it was our own personal massage person breathing in our ears watching us fill it out. Obviously I'm not going to write what I truly felt right to her face. It was just the worse experience. I left more stressed, shocked and in pain. I can truthfully say me and my friend HATED EVERY PART. And you can tell others feeling the same since they threw brothers in our face begging to get people to come. Thanks but no thanks. Never again.

I first took courses with Kaz who was very patient and calm with me as I started to learn the ropes. To which I appreciated immensely because I am the type of person who does not do well when people are aggressive or curt with me. Makes me tense up. He also gave me very useful spreadsheets to study for the following classes. I had to change instructor due to Kaz's schedule filling up so fast so I next got Jennifer who was just as efficient if not more ( no disrespect haha.). She was a pleasure to train with as well and continued to help me feel confident in my skills while correcting me as needed. One thing you should keep in mind is their mannerism via text. They can come off as very curt through the communications ( at least to me they did. ) so I did a little digging and found out that, in general, people in these professions have to project this demeanor in order to keep the tone serious to emphasis that, "you are going to be on the road, where you can possibly kill someone!" So I understand the approach now. But still takes some getting used to but dont let it deter you! They mean well! The prices are very reasonable as well! 32 bucks for 45 mins of driving. Pretty great bang for your buck considering they seriously know what they're doing. Schedule wise, they are flexible but dont you DARE BE LATE! their time is precious and take it very seriously!
