Flurries sound great
A'Yanna E.

A nice, local ice cream shop close by where I performed. It was a great option to satisfy my craving during my four hour pre show downtime. I should've gotten a sugar cone but went for what sounded interesting--an ice cream brownie. It literally wasn't special...it was just frozen soft serve ice cream molded in a cupcake liner. I was underwhelmed but go try the other menu items they have. Go, enjoy!

I came here on a hot day so the line was a little long, but the wait was worth it! This ice cream shop is small (it's not a sit-down place) so there were only two people working at the time but they were very friendly and efficient. The ice cream was delicious, I just got a scoop of the Moose Tracks which really hit the spot. They have a ton of other options including soft-serve, shakes and flurries too! Definitely will be back to try something else next time!

This ice cream shop actually fills a niche in the market which is TOPPINGS!! They have "flurries" where they blend the toppings into the ice cream. Yum! I had the Cthulhu which was chocolate ice cream with Oreos blended in, chocolate syrup, and whipped cream, and it was sooo good. I wish I had one of these closer to my neighborhood! The ladies working were super nice and informative as well.

January through March 2024, Bordertown Brooklyn is hosting a breakfast taco pop up here on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays 8am until they sell out (10:30am/11am). What a dream come true for north Brooklyn. Amazing service. Ambiance is well, let's just say you should bundle up since the line is mostly outside. Worth it!

I was craving ice cream so on my usual 5 or 6 mile walk that I do everyday ever since covid took a different route and decided to taste some ice cream. I passed by this place before and always see people by it so I decided to check it out. I couldn't decide on the flavor for the longest time. Finally decided on the flurry ice cream and the oreo mixed together. I also got the strawberry + vanilla shake. Both were great especially for a nice warm day. The flurry ice cream tasted like the one you can get from McDonald's. The pricing wasn't ridiculous either unlike other places which charges an arm and a leg. I may be back if I decide to walk back to this area again.

Vanilla soft serve

Screen Door is a great neighborhood ice cream spot! I tried the vanilla soft serve and mint chocolate chip. Both were yummy. Super friendly employees and reasonable prices (refreshing in a city where a scoop of Van Leeuwen will run you $9 or whatever).

A great new ice cream option just opened in Greenpoint, serving soft serve and hard ice cream. They serve up some nice hearty scoops and pretty twists of chocolate and vanilla, but most importantly, they make a nicer version of a McFlurry (a Flurrie here), complete with that same spoon and similar mix-ins and everything. Located right across the street from a park, there are big rushes of families for sure, but it's worth the wait for a great dessert from a nice new small business.

This place is there for all you ice cream lovers! They don't have a lot of vegan options but the regular flavors are abundant and so unique! My friend really enjoyed moose tracks! I got a vegan pop which was EXCELLENT ! DELICIOUS!!

Wicked chocolate, mint chocolate chip

The ice cream here is okay/good. Not a huge flavor selection and seems like soft serve with mix-ins is the way to go. I got ice cream on a cone and unfortunately the paper wrapper was stuck to it so half of it was inedible.

Ollies is one of those places that you walk into and just instantly smile…read more The ice cream taste like "happy". There's so many little tchotchkes and random knickknacks to buy or just browse while you're enjoying a cone or sundae. On a nice day, grab a seat outside in the bright orange signature chairs, people watch, and enjoy your ice cream. Or hang inside and play on the video game console while you eat. And honestly, if and when I get a boyfriend, this place is absolutely going on my "future date spot" list.

Cute little ice cream shop in Brooklyn with a more hipster vibe…read more Wanted to try some different flavored ice cream and they have a small selection of ice creams I've never tried before so that was nice. I do want to point out that their flavors do change den the ones online (ended up choosing different flavors once we realized the ones we wanted to try were taken off the menu). We got two scoops of ice cream and you can get it in either a cup or cone. The cannoli ice cream was surprisingly good. I'm not the biggest fan of cannoli but my fiancé wanted to try it and we were both pleasantly surprised. It had pieces of mashed of cannoli bits within and the mini chocolate chips also added a really nice flavor. The second scoop we got was the Coconut Coffee which I was excited about. It was also really good as well however, it is not an ice cream you can have a lot of. I think there were caramel swirls within that made it super sweet so it was definitely a lot tougher to finish after the first few bites. The service was great as well. You do have to be patient as there is only one person who is taking the order and scooping the ice cream but we didn't feel like we waited too long.
