I've been going to The Hive since it first opened. Like any new business, it had a few minor…read moregrowing pains at the beginning, but it has truly grown into a standout spot in the Anaheim Hills sports and live music scene. The venue features numerous screens throughout, making it a great place to catch all your favorite local teams--especially during playoff season. The atmosphere is energetic and welcoming, perfect for fans and families alike. I'm there most often for the live music. Harry, the owner, does a fantastic job booking a wide variety of bands, particularly on weekends--that's usually when my group and I head over. There's a spacious dance floor, and it's always a fun night for everyone who attends. The food is excellent with a solid variety of options, though I'd still love to see a big, classic hot dog added to the menu someday (hint, hint, Harry!). The service is consistently great, and the staff is always friendly and attentive. If you're in the neighborhood, I highly recommend stopping by to catch a game or check out a local band on the weekend.

Save your time and money. GO ELSEWHERE!…read more I rarely write reviews, but this experience was bad enough to warrant one. We came in with a valid coupon--not expired, nothing shady--and were flat-out refused. No reasonable explanation, no attempt to make it right, just a dismissive "we're not honoring that." For the record, we ordered two margaritas, a fountain drink an appetizer and split a taco plate. The coupon was for a free appetizer. After presenting the bill the manager stated they cannot honor the coupon because the appetizer was more than the tacos (the appetizer being tater tots, that I ADDED $7.00 carne asada to.) I asked if they could just take the tater tots off or even just take the tacos off if it were a price issue. They refused. Made no attempt to make the situation right. Unfortunately, the food didn't come close to making up for it. Everything tasted bland, poorly prepared, and overpriced for the quality. It honestly felt like zero care went into what was served. The drinks from the bar weren't any better--weak, unbalanced, and not even close to what you'd expect from a "Sports bar" What really sealed the deal was the manager's attitude. Instead of addressing the issue professionally, he came across as dismissive and uninterested. No accountability, no customer service--just a shrug and a bad vibe. Overall, this place misses the mark on every level: food, drinks, and integrity. There are too many good restaurants out there to waste time and money on one that doesn't respect its own customers. So many restaurants going out of business locally it's sad, but with events like this, it makes sense. Value the customer. Take pride in serving your community.

This is my second time here. First time, the experience was ok. Food and drinks were mid so when…read moreour friends wanted to come here for lunch, we were already hesitant but decided to come back to check it out again before posting a review. Came here with friends during lunch hour & got some items from the "lunch deals" section. For the lunch deals, we got the 2 chicken tacos, which comes with chips & salsa. There was a decent amount of chips and salsa and the tacos were a good size & had good flavors. 8/10 for the chicken tacos. My friend got the traditional wings (6 piece) lunch deal which comes with a side of fries & celery. The sizes of the wings look decent & she enjoyed the meal. Our party also got the steak tacos & steak nachos. This time, there was a decent amount of steak on the nachos and it paired perfectly with everything. The first time we came here and we got the nachos during our last visit, there was barely any steak on the nachos so I'm glad they corrected it and making it better. 8/10 for the nachos. Drinks: my group mainly got beer so they were all good & happy with it. I wanted a margarita flight and well, that was pretty disappointing. It was supposed to be 4 different flavors/drinks with tequila. But where was the tequila? I felt that they should've been upfront with it on the menu and called it a mocktail or something because when we didn't taste any tequila in it, we asked the waitress & she mentioned to us that there is only 1 shot of tequila for the whole flight...like what?! That flight cost $20 so you're telling me I'm basically buying $20 worth of juice since the tequila is non-existent?! That was truly disappointing to hear & even the waitress said she would never recommend the flight because of it and it wasn't fun to make. So do better Brass Tap, either add more tequila to your flight to make it actually worth $20 or just remove it all together from your menu. Deceiving & a total waste. 0/10 for the flight. Thankfully the waitress removed it from our bill without issue & got me the watermelon margarita to replace it. Much better and you can taste some tequila in it (not much but a lot more than what was sprinkled onto the flight). 6/10 for the watermelon drink. Overall the service is decent and the space is decent for small groups. There's seating at the bar area and tables inside and outside. Decor was typical for these type of place. Plenty of parking as well. Will I be back? Maybe if drinks are better.

What other better place to celebrate our friend reunion at a place called "Reunion"? ;)…read more We were looking for a good brunch place to try out and found this place near Corona. Parking: I had no problem finding parking spot as the lot is huge and shared with many other businesses. Interior: We were seated right away without any wait time as we arrived when they just opened. We were seated in a dark area of the restaurant (think bar vibe) so I was a little not sure at first. Most brunch places I went to were always filled with sunlight and bright colorful interiors. This place embraced a classic, quiet feel, something like a Steak House would have. Service: Our server's name was Susan I believe, who was nice and attentive through the whole meal, despite the crowd slowly built up and filled the restaurant. She never failed to check back on us, not just once but twice and refilled our water. She probably isn't as familiar with the brunch menu favorites but seem to know more about the Main menu. The General Manager came out and greeted us because most of their customers are regulars and it's uncommon to have first timers like us visiting. This nice hospitality made us feel very warmly welcomed and impressed. Food: I couldn't decide whether to go with the Slow braised beef on the brunch menu (braised beef benedict) or the main menu but ended up going with the Main menu to get a good portion size. It was a perfect choice because the beef is just amazing. It was cooked to a soft perfection, well seasoned, the roasted vegetable was also cooked just right and not super raw/ crunchy like other places. Then the star of the show arrived - the butter cake. As Susan suggested, this is their most popular dessert and I can see why. The butter cake comes piping hot with the ice cream on top. There's a nice sugar crunchy feel near the bottom of the cake. It's so delicious that I want to come back just to eat this cake. We had a great time overall and would love to come back.
