They replaced the meal but I was still very put off by this. I have not eaten at Era ever since. I thought about giving them another chance so we celebrated our anniversary with brunch. We arrived around noon and it was still pretty busy. It seems like they are always busy and there is no real "slow" period. We had to wait for a table but was only a 5 minute wait for the two of us. The waitress was very polite and upbeat which made the experience more enjoyable. I ordered the Nashville chicken & waffle and the girlfriend ordered the country fried steak. We also order the mimosa flight; the pineapple was our favorite. The order came decently fast for how busy it was. The food was amazing. The potatoes with the country fried steak were incredible. It was a good sized steak with a good amount of gravy; the perfect ratio of meat to gravy. The chicken and waffles were very good. I liked that the hot sauce came on the side. The waffle itself had very good flavor. The breaded chicken was cut into strips and there was a lot of chicken provided. The combo of the sweet waffle with the spicy chicken really hit the spot. I would say that Era changed my mind from my first experience. We had an enjoyable and delicious meal - we will be back.

We ordered at the front and then took a seat. A Korean movie or show was showing in a screen in the wall behind us. There are Korean juices and drinks in the fridge for purchase with the meal. It was a random Tuesday night and the takeout business was brisk and the place was almost full inside. It isn't a huge place, with a few tables, some large bench/picnic type tables, and some high chairs (with no backs) and tables. (If there's one thing I can suggest - it's to have to some chairs with backs!) Our group of four ended up ordering different dishes and each was delicious per each person. I ordered Bulgogi, which delicious, and others ordered Mandu soup, Jobchae, and one more dish. The food was tasty and the atmosphere is casual. Really enjoyed the food and visiting here. Would definitely come again.

While I take comfort in that, knowing I'd be eating at Wisconsin Lions Camp for the remainder of the week, I wanted to shock my western palette with ethnic cuisine. Thankfully I found Brokogi not too far away and was able to procure a sample of their delicious offerings. The Hot Spicy Combo (see picture) was *exactly* what I needed and the level of heat warmed my heart! I could not have made a good choice without the help of the waitstaff and cashier who identified my culinary desires. I'm ever so thankful for their guidance, and can say it's a trait I witnessed them offer to at least one other novice visitor as I dined. I highly recommend Brokogi if you're interested in Korean Fried Chicken (KFC) or more traditional flavors. Personally, the break from northern WI's fodder was a quest that Brokogi fulfilled and I'm eager to return.
