I paid $25 for an appetizer at another restaurant and it was not nearly as delicious as my burger from Schnitzel Bomber. The burger was cooked, moist, and flavorful. The tomatoes were ripe, and my fries were perfectly crunchy. My husband tried the shrimp and grits and was so pleased to get a good meal at a reasonable price. Huge serving of pork schnitzel! On my first visit I got a sampler cuppa pork goulash, and it was very nice. Took my friend on a second trip and we ordered two pork schnitzels, one with just truffle fries as the side. We included a Daily Special that was a Spinach Salad with lots of other tasty ingredients and a small topping of sliced pork schnitzel ... my friend snapped up that Special and said it was great, and filling. All you summer dipnetters and fishermen looking for a fine meal, but you're all grubby and smelly from harvesting salmon or halibut, come here. You won't regret it! This is just what I like from a tiny gem. Limited menu knocked out of the park. (Go Braves!) We have been here twice in two days and the special sandwich is perfection. We wanted to stop for some authentic food, We found a treasure, the proprietor was bubbly, informative and her positive energy was contagious. You can tell she loves what she does. Wow. I cannot describe with words what was just in my mouth. Other than it tastes the way the most beautiful painting or perfectly orchestrated piece of music feels. I would sell my soul for the recipes, and yet, it would not compare to the heaven I tasted today. The schnitzel is cooked and breaded to perfection, the gravy had me drinking from the cup, the fries were perfectly fried with amazing flavors, and the cabbage was beautiful. Not only is the schnitzel with fries amazing, but the sandwich was elite. All the flavors together and the perfectly cooked egg had me seeing colors. I hate living 5 hours away and I dream about this food when we go for our yearly camping trip to Homer. I will be hiring a private jet to visit every weekend for this masterpiece.
