Everyone at the front was so nice. They wore masks and we were required to do so as well. We filled out paperwork, paid and selected our jewelry, a nose ring for me. They sent us outside and we could only go in individually. This part sucked a little because we had no support system during the piercing... but we understood and also appreciated the precautions that were being taken. Tava the piercier took good care of each of us. She took her time and answered questions that I had once I got in the back. I asked not to see the needle. She obliged and kept me informed and calm during the process. It was quick, gentle, with little pain. I was given aftercare documents and a date that I could come back for follow up if I needed to. Overall we got 2 nose, 2 belly button, and a tragus ring. Everyone was pleased. My sis had to stop back in the other day after her diamond fell off her post. They examined her and told her that it was still swollen and couldn't be changed yet. But they have her replacement jewelry and advised that she can come back in a couple months to let them change it.

Jeff did my first tattoo for me a couple years ago, an adaptation of some 125-year-old art for my shoulder. Turned out absolutely beautiful, in spite of a couple rookie decisions on my part that certain things look a certain way. Last night he started in on a leg sleeve for me - I didn't bring anything for reference but a general idea about the theme, and he's running from there. Little different process, and better. Trust your artist - they do this for a living. The leg looks amazing already just in partial linework, but there are hours and hours left- if experience tells me anything it's just going to improve as we go. Jeff's an extremely talented artist and a super nice guy, and the rest of the folks in his shop are doing great work as well, from what I have seen. I'm looking forward to more work. I did some research on Rowan and I liked what I saw. I like that the piercers are nurses and I also like that you have the choice of getting your piercing with a device or with a needle. Personally, I am a pro needle person so this was the perfect place to bring my son. Rowan is near the Pandora store at The Summit. I was able to make an appointment online and when we arrived to Rowan, we were seen pretty quickly. There were quite a few walk-ins after us so I do suggest making an appointment. The nurse that pierced my son did a phenomenal job of explaining everything that she was doing and talking him through it so he wouldn't be nervous. Everything was sterile and so clean. This is exactly the type of experience that I would want for my child getting his ear pierced. The options they had for jewelry were quality, which is important with new piercings. Some might feel like the pricing is kind of high if you're comparing it to places like Claire's or Walmart. I think the pricing is on par with what you're getting. I trust that Greg vets each artist to insure of that fact! Todd Boling has done my last three tattoos, and he's going to do a cover up on my foot. He's got a light hand and that matters to me because I'm not a fan of pain! I'd said that I wouldn't do the much needed cover up without an Epidural but because Todd has such a light hand, imma do it!! Another plus in Todd's favor is that one of the tattoos he did for me is in Hebrew.
